JeTaun Rouse, of Marist, is this week’s Beggars Pizza/SouthtownStar Girls Basketball Player of the Week.
Rouse, a senior guard, scored a team-high 17 points in the RedHawks’ 75-42 win over host Thornwood in a regional semifinal. Then she scored a team-high 30 points as Marist beat Lincoln-Way North 71-55 in the regional title game.
