State title game. You’re in it. What team would you most like to beat for the championship? Why?
Simeon. They have so much hype.
What’s your go-to move in a game of H-O-R-S-E?
Shooting from behind my head from the three-point line. Once in a while I can make it.
What’s in your iPod?
A little of everything. I like to listen to hip-hop and rock before games. Some Jay-Z and Asher Roth.
If you could have your pick, what celebrity would you choose as your prom date?
Katy Perry.
You’re on a deserted island. You could have an endless supply of one food. What would it be?
A Baconator from Wendy’s. I look small, but I can eat a lot.
Given the chance, what person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet? Why?
Michael Jordan. He’s my sports idol and basketball hero.
What’s the most important value you’ve learned from your parents?
Life isn’t fair and you have to take what comes at you in stride.
Ten years from now, when you’re talking about coach Pat Richardson, what will first come to mind?
Detailed.
What impact does Rice’s student section, the Crusader Crazies, have on the players?
They definitely get your blood flowing. I don’t hear them all the time when I’m playing, but I laugh out loud when we watch tape of the game. I wish I could be up there with them sometimes.
As told to Pat Disabato
