No. 10 Seton 38, Hales Franciscan 36: Kamal Shasi notched 16 points in helping Seton (20-10) advance to the championship.
Class 3A Hillcrest Regional
Oak Forest 59, Tinley Park 56: Kyle Flanagan poured in 19 points and David Gray scored 17 to spark Oak Forest (12-16) in the semifinal. Vince Gooden paced Tinley Park (8-17) with 16 points.
Class 3A Julian Regional
St. Laurence 70, Corliss 46: Mike Krutulis made seven three-pointers and totaled 29 points to put St. Laurence (10-19) in the championship. Jim Schick added 23 points for the Vikings.
Class 3A Lincoln-Way West Regional
Plano 53, Lincoln-Way West 40: Hayden Witt provided 19 points and seven rebounds for Lincoln-Way West (3-26) in semifinal play.
Providence 60, Joliet Catholic 43: Kevin Kozan scored 14 points and Tom O’Halloran had 13 to aid Providence (14-13) in the semifinal. Miles Boykin tacked on 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics.
Class 3A Peotone Regional
No. 9 Rich East 77, Manteno 47: Nick Horne, Brandon Cole and Ronald Lawton netted 16 points apiece to guide Rich East (18-6) in the semifinal.
Rich South 56, Peotone 35: Demitri Strickland had 15 points, 16 rebounds and four assists to lift Rich South (11-15) in semifinal action. Jaylen Zachery chipped in 10 points and five rebounds for the Stars.
Class 2A Illiana Christian Girls Indoor Track and Field
Homewood-Flossmoor triangular: Chardae Greenlee won the long jump (15 feet) and triple jump (35 feet, 2 inches) as Homewood-Flossmoor (189 points) topped Hinsdale South (134) and Crete-Monee (102). Other winners for the Vikings included Ebonee Stanton in the 300-meter dash (44.50 seconds) and Megan Magurany in the 2-mile run (13 minutes, 40.34 seconds). Crete-Monee’s Chasity Powell was first in the 800 (2:39.98).
