Girls Water Polo
Marian Catholic 15, De La Salle 4: Paige Weiser netted four goals and Sophie Sesto added a hat trick to power visiting Marian Catholic (1-0, 1-0). Isabelle Keating and Diana Fernandez added two goals apiece for the Spartans in the Metro Catholic.
Boys Water Polo
Bremen co-op 13, Lincoln-Way Central 12: Zach Zdanavicius’ goal with four seconds remaining lifted host Bremen co-op in the season opener for both squads. Quinn Johnson paced the Silver Snakes with 10 goals and 11 steals. Tristan Funk had a team-high five goals for Lincoln-Way Central.
