No. 2 Mount Carmel 11, Kenwood 0: Austin Dodson struck out nine in pitching a no-hitter for host Mount Carmel (3-1) in the five-inning contest. Marko Boricich led the Caravan offense with a two-run triple and three RBI.
No. 3 St. Rita 7, Morgan Park 6: Pete Cozzi’s two-run single capped a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh for St. Rita (6-0). Pete Martinez (1-0) pitched five innings of one-run ball for the Mustangs.
No. 4 St. Laurence 4, Neenah (Wis.) 0: Mike Kornacker smacked an RBI double and scored twice to lift host St. Laurence (2-1). Vikings pitcher Kyle Estand gave up five hits and struck out eight in five innings.
No. 9 Marian Catholic 3, De La Salle 0: Ryan Waaso (1-0), Jack Healy and Regynold Johnson combined on a two-hitter for visiting Marian Catholic in its season opener. Chris Baker had a two-run double.
Reavis 13, Hubbard 0: Mike Lally went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for host Reavis (2-0) in the five-inning game. Richie Velez added two doubles and two RBI for the Rams.
Chicago Christian 8, Tinley Park 1: Wally Findysz (2 doubles) had three RBI and Sean O’Meara (2-for-3) had three runs for host Chicago Christian (5-0). Zach Moravec has an RBI for Tinley Park (0-1).
New Trier 4, No. 5 Lockport 3: Derek Bangert stroked a two-run single for Lockport in its season opener.
No. 6 Mother McAuley 10, Mount Assisi 0: Emily Rux was 3-for-3 with three RBI for host Mother McAuley (1-0, 1-0) in the six-inning GCAC Red game. Jessica Alberts allowed two hits and struck out seven for the Mighty Macs.
Seton 22, Bowen 8: Tiffany Ellis (2-for-3, run) scored twice and also got the decision for host Seton (1-0) in the four-inning tilt.
Reavis 28-25, Eisenhower 26-14: Nick Bal had 24 assists for visiting Reavis (4-4, 2-1) in the South Suburban Red. Abdal Ishtaiah added six kills and 14 blocks for the Rams. Lukasz Kupiec led Eisenhower (5-3, 1-2) with eight kills.
Argo 2, Bremen 1 (SO): Leslie Lopez netted the deciding goal as host Argo (1-2, 1-0) held a 5-4 edge in the penalty-kick shootout. Grecia Equihua scored in regulation for the Argonauts in the South Suburban crossover.
Queen of Peace 3, Resurrection 2: Nina Izzo’s two goals propelled Queen of Peace (5-3, 1-1) in the GCAC Red match at Reavis.
Lincoln-Way North 0, Plainfield Central 0: Bethany Dombkowski recorded her fourth shutout for host Lincoln-Way North (3-0-1).
Lincoln-Way West 4, Bloom 1: Kendall Watson and Breanna Heyer were among the goal scorers for visiting Lincoln-Way West (4-1-1). Emily Wyskiel added two assists for the Warriors.
Nazareth 2, Providence 1: Maggie Corso had a first-half goal for host Providence (0-3, 0-1) in its East Suburban Catholic opener.
Marist 2, Andrew 1: Goals by Lorna McCall and Kara Bock keyed host Marist (1-2).
Mount Assisi 3, Chicago Christian 2: Mary Kate Wetzel scored twice and Danielle Herbst once for host Mount Assisi (4-3). Emily Lemmenes and Anica Pausma had goals for Chicago Christian (0-2-1).
Reavis 15, Shepard 0: Anna Wytych (No. 7) and Elizabeth Doory (No. 8) won their respective singles matches and also teamed for a victory at No. 4 doubles for host Reavis (3-0, 3-0) in the South Suburban dual.
Sandburg 14, Lincoln-Way North 1: Jenna Ciaccio won in both singles and doubles for visiting Sandburg in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Michaela Doyle won at No. 8 singles for Lincoln-Way North.
Bradley triangular: Sarah Napoli (No. 1) and Kelly Miotti (No. 2) each won twice in singles as Lockport (6-3) posted 15-0 wins over Bradley and Plainfield North.
T.F. South triangular: Jessica Gomez (No. 1 singles) won twice in running her record to 20-0 as T.F. South beat Oak Lawn 13-2 and T.F. North 15-0 in the South Suburban meet.
Lincoln-Way East 7, Minooka 0: Tom Emola won in straight sets at No. 1 singles for host Lincoln-Way East (4-1). Ty Scaletta and Rohan Piska added a victory at No. 1 doubles for the Griffins.
Oak Forest 4, Lincoln-Way West 3: Matt Nadeau and Ed Young prevailed at No. 1 doubles for host Oak Forest in the season debut for both teams. Jon Martin (No. 1 singles) was among the winners for Lincoln-Way West.

Homewood-Flossmoor 10, Lincoln-Way Central 4: Haden Santefort scored three times to lead visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (5-4, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Alex McCormick had two goals for Lincoln-Way Central (3-4,0-1).
Andrew 12, Lincoln-Way North 11 (OT): Eric Tamulonis scored three times, including the match winner, to lead host Andrew (5-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Alex Gacek paced the Thunderbolts with five goals.

Lincoln-Way East 6, Lockport 5: Erica Mangia’s three goals sparked host Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue (5-4, 1-1).
Marian Catholic 12, St. Ignatius 11: Olivia Giannetti scored five goals to lead Marian Catholic (3-1) in Chicago Heights.
Mother McAuley 20, Lane Tech 2: Annie Hopkins chalked up five goals and an assist for Mother McAuley (2-1).
D’Youville (N.Y.) 26-25-14-25, St. Xavier 24-21-25-22: Jacob Siska had 12 kills and 12 digs for St. Xavier (6-19) in its regular-season home finale. Dan French added 27 assists for the Cougars.
