Football

Ag. Science 22, Roosevelt 0: Carlton Brown threw two touchdown passes to spark Ag. Science at Gately Stadium. Kirklin Branhim added a 12-yard scoring run for the Cyclones.

Oak Lawn 42, Kenwood 19: Ray Howard ran for five touchdowns (6, 1, 5, 40, 5 yards) to spark host Oak Lawn. The Spartans’ other score came on a 17-yard pass from Konrad Lach to Tyler Loehr.

Evergreen Park 2, Little Village 0: Host Evergreen Park won by forfeit.

Girls Volleyball

Mother McAuley 25-25, Wheaton St. Francis 20-23: Ryann DeJarld (9 digs) had 12 kills and Courtney Joyce (8 digs) dished out 23 assists to pace visiting Mother McAuley (2-0). The Mighty Macs also received seven kills from Kelsey Clark and 12 digs from Carla Cahill.

Boys Soccer

Peoria Christian Tournament

Chicago Christian 1, Peoria Christian 1: Jake Robertson scored for Chicago Christian (1-0-2).

Boys Golf

Champaign Central Invitational: Neil Doyle shot an 82 and teammate Ryan Kelly posted an 85 as Marian Catholic (342) finished 15th in the 19-team tournament at the University of Illinois Golf Course in Savoy. Mattoon (315) captured first place.

Girls Tennis

Marian Catholic 4, T.F. South 1: Giselle Beebe prevailed at No. 1 singles for host Marian Catholic (2-1).

Women’s Cross Country

Elmhurst Invitational: Trinity Christian (127) finished fourth and Moraine Valley (298) 10th in the 12-team meet. Jessica Disselkoen led Trinity Christian, finishing 19th after completing the 4-kilometer course in 15 minutes, 55.3 seconds. Her teammate, Anna Bos (16:01.6), was 21st. The top runner for Moraine Valley was Allison Gorman (17:31.7), who was 38th.

Women’s Volleyball

St. Xavier/Trinity Christian Classic: St. Xavier (1-4) split its two matches, losing to St. Francis (Ind.) 25-21, 25-23, 25-20 and beating Huntington (Ind.) 25-15, 25-27, 25-21, 25-19. Kelli Shaffer totaled 56 assists, 22 digs and 12 kills over both matches for the Cougars. Heidi Gregerson and Marie Hackert added 22 and 20 kills, respectively, for St. Xavier.
