Morgan Park 18, Harlan 0: Touchdown runs by Jalin Edwards (23 yards) and Deonte Thomas (5) sparked Morgan Park (1-2) at Gately Stadium. Kyren Moore also starred for the Mustangs, returning a blocked punt 8 yards for a score.
Shepard 25-25, Oak Forest 10-22: Amanda Carberry chalked up four service points, four blocks and four digs to pace host Shepard 7-5, 4-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Alyssa Kolecki led Oak Forest (3-8, 2-2) with 16 assists and seven digs.
Tinley Park 25-25, Evergreen Park 18-17: Molly Brennan had nine kills and Kasey Nolan added 13 assists to lift host Tinley Park (5-9, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover.
Mount Assisi 25-25, Trinity 23-20: Kelly Magliano’s eight kills and four blocks propelled host Mount Assisi (6-9, 1-1) in the GCAC Red.
Providence 26-25, Lincoln-Way Central 24-21: Annie Cummings and Clare Urchell provided eight kills each for visiting Providence (6-3). The Celtics also received 22 digs from Allie Marthaler and 19 assists from Rachel Alles. Mariel Leibovitz passed out 39 assists for Lincoln-Way Central (3-1). Jackqueline Langer (17 kills, 11 digs, 7 blocks) and Maria Brown (15 kills, 13 digs) aided the cause for the Knights.
Mother McAuley 25-28, De La Salle 14-26: Courtney Joyce contributed 14 assists, five digs and four kills to spearhead visiting Mother McAuley (9-1) in the GCAC crossover.
Marist 25-25, York 13-15: Molly Mayo (20 assists, 6 digs) and Lizzie Zaleski (10 kills, 6 aces, 3 blocks) keyed host Marist (3-1).
T.F. South 25-25, Richards 11-16: Crystal Lee had six kills, four service points and four blocks in starring for host T.F. South (10-1, 4-0). Abbe Mullen added 15 assists for the Rebels in the South Suburban crossover.
Mount Carmel 7, Bishop McNamara 0: Luis Rivera, Jaylen Anderson and Greg Pitts were among the goal scorers for host Mount Carmel (2-4-2) in the Catholic League crossover.
Bremen 4, Oak Forest 1: Alejandro Mendez netted two goals to spark visiting Bremen (4-0, 2-0) in the South Suburban Blue.
Tinley Park 3, Oak Lawn 0: Goals by Danny Alejandre, Paul Blakely and Mo Ahmed spurred host Tinley Park (4-0, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover.
Illinois Lutheran 5, St. Anne 0: Evan Henschel’s four goals steered host Illinois Lutheran (8-0, 3-0) in the River Valley. Luke Egeler added three assists for the Chargers.
St. Rita 0, Kennedy 0: Nick Goldsmith made 10 saves for host St. Rita (1-1-1).
Chicago Christian 5, Guerin 0: Getenet Timmermans and Jake Robertson each contributed two goals and an assist for visiting Chicago Christian (4-1-2) in the Suburban Christian match.
Lincoln-Way East 6, Providence 1: Alan Hernandez scored twice and Kris Kirchoff added two assists for host Lincoln-Way East (3-2-1).
Bloom 3, Marian Catholic 1: Juan Elizalde (2 goals) and Ricardo Aldape (2 assists) were the primary contributors for visiting Bloom (6-2). Marian Catholic slipped to 9-2.
Reavis 3, Lincoln-Way North 1: Matt Mulica’s two goals led visiting Reavis (6-1).
Bremen 203, T.F. North 219: T.F. North’s Sam Wojcik (48) was the medalist in the South Suburban Blue.
Richards 168, Eisenhower 196: Medalist Matt Kendryna carded a 38 to power Richards in the South Suburban Red dual at The Meadows.
Lincoln-Way Central 159, Andrew 183: Kyle Tebelman, of Lincoln-Way Central, led all golfers with a 38 in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at The Sanctuary.
Bradley 165, Lincoln-Way North 170: Joey Oaks and John Orowick both shot 41 to pace Lincoln-Way North in the SouthWest Suburban Red meet at Kankakee Elks.
Illiana Christian 167, Elmwood Park 193: Medalist Nathan Zuidema (40) directed Illiana Christian in the Metro Suburban meet at Indian Boundary.
Marist 184, Queen of Peace 244: Marist teammates Ashley Kay and Sam Smith shared medalist honors with rounds of 44 at The Meadows.
Mount Assisi 218, Westmont 265: Medalist Colleen Sullivan posted a 51 to show the way for Mount Assisi.
Mother McAuley 191, Resurrection 224: Mother McAuley’s Makayla Brown (45) was the medalist in the GCAC meet at The Meadows.
Lincoln-Way Central 188, Homewood-Flossmoor 220: Co-medalists Clara Scheer and Mary Yonkaitis each shot 44 to pace Lincoln-Way Central in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Coyote Run. Kendall Paris (48) turned in the best round for Homewood-Flossmoor.
Stagg 217, Lincoln-Way West 228: Natalie Collina, of Stagg, paced all golfers with a 44 in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at The Sanctuary.
Stagg 5, Rich Central 0: Jillian Atkenson (No. 1) and Serena George (No. 2) posted singles wins for host Stagg.
Lemont 3, Oak Lawn 2: Katie Lynch and C.J. Hunter won at No. 2 doubles to aid visiting Lemont in the South Suburban crossover. Alexis Fletcher, of Oak Lawn, prevailed at top-seeded singles.
Tinley Park 5, Richards 0: Haley Wilcox and Jourdan Collins registered singles victories for visiting Tinley Park in the South Suburban crossover.
Fenwick 3, Marian Catholic 2: Gaby Rosales (No. 1 singles) was among the winners for host Marian Catholic in the East Suburban Catholic.
Eisenhower 4, Bremen 1: Paulina Martinez and Briannaly Serna won at top-seeded doubles to spark host Eisenhower in the South Suburban crossover.
Lincoln-Way East 4, Lincoln-Way Central 3: Nina Heidkamp and Jackie Kraut won at No. 2 doubles to ignite visiting Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Sarah Florek and Hannah Richardson won at No. 1 singles for Lincoln-Way Central.
Providence 3, Joliet Catholic 2: Hannah Davis (No. 1 singles) won the deciding match to catapult host Providence in the East Suburban Catholic.
Rich South 4, Kankakee 1: Rebeka Arriaga prevailed at No. 2 singles for visiting Rich South in the Southland.
Rosary 4, Chicago Christian 1: Grace Furlong was a winner at No. 1 singles for visiting Chicago Christian in the Suburban Christian dual.
Boys Cross Country
Bremen Invitational: Shepard’s Josh Maier won the 3-mile race in 16 minutes, 23 seconds at Midlothian Meadows. Evergreen Park’s Matt Przeslicke (16:41.7) was second and Lincoln-Way Central’s Chris Kaminski (17:00.8) finished third. Kaminski’s performance helped the Knights (29 points) capture top honors among the 12 scoring teams. Shepard (64) came in second and Bolingbrook (69) third.
Girls Cross Country
Bremen Invitational: Shepard’s Alondra Delfin (20:11) was second in the 3-mile race at Midlothian Meadows. The next two spots were occupied by Bloom teammates Gina Narcisi (20:19.2) and Sullibet Ramirez (20:23.6). Lincoln-Way Central (94) was the top area team, placing second behind Bolingbrook (29). The Knights’ best runner was Amanda Baker (20:38), who finished seventh.
Trinity Christian 25-32-25, Olivet Nazarene 16-30-9:
Lauren Macadio and Kaitlin Feddema drilled 10 kills each to power host Trinity Christian (11-2, 2-0). Erin Schuh tacked on 32 assists for the Trolls in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
