Girls Volleyball

Sandburg 25-25, Thornwood 7-10: Emily Makina totaled 12 assists and four digs to spark host Sandburg (9-3) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Katie Makina added nine assists for the Eagles.

T.F. South 25-25, Oak Lawn 21-17: Crystal Lee had 12 service points and six kills to aid host T.F. South (13-1, 6-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Abbe Mullen tacked on 22 assists for the Rebels and Leah Lagestee had eight kills.

Richards 25-25, Oak Forest 17-16: Megan Albon’s seven kills and Camille Losoya’s 12 digs keyed visiting Richards (10-2, 5-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Alyssa Kolecki (10 service points, 8 assists) and Alex Lambros (7 kills) were the top performers for Oak Forest (3-10, 2-4).

Lemont 25-25, Reavis 19-17: Tess Cannon had nine digs and Ali Lund added five kills to lead visiting Lemont (10-4, 5-1) in the South Suburban crossover.

Mount Assisi 22-25-25, Regina 25-20-17: MaryKate Wetzel contributed 20 assists and Anna Broadhurst chalked up 10 kills for host Mount Assisi (11-11, 2-2) in the GCAC Red.

Lincoln-Way North 25-25, Joliet Central 23-19: Ally Cappel finished with 11 digs and four kills in aiding visiting Lincoln-Way North (9-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Stagg 25-17-25, Andrew 14-25-20: Lexi Mantas racked up 15 kills and 11 digs to power host Stagg (4-7) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Hannah Yandel added 15 assists for the Chargers. Baylee Panfil contributed 21 assists and five kills for Andrew (2-7).

Shepard 25-28, T.F. North 8-26: Abbey Graham had seven kills and Kendall Yerkes tacked on 12 digs to ignite visiting Shepard (9-5, 6-0) in the South Suburban crossover.

Evergreen Park 25-25, Bremen 11-17: Zoe Monks totaled 14 assists and Sam Flores had five kills to propel host Evergreen Park (3-9, 1-4) in the South Suburban crossover. Kelly Shine added 10 digs for the Mustangs.

De La Salle 25-25, Resurrection 16-15: Kyra White recorded nine kills in starring for host De La Salle (6-3, 2-1) in the GCAC Red.

Lockport 26-25, Bradley 24-16: Sarah Kurzawski and Amber Stefanski each pounded five kills for host Lockport (5-4) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Rachel Weis aided the cause for the Porters with 12 digs.

Boys Soccer

St. Laurence 6, Bishop McNamara 2: Alex Rodriguez, Ramon Calvillo and Lukas Burdelik were among the goal scorers for visiting St. Laurence (4-4, 2-0) in the Catholic League South.

T.F. United 3, Lemont 0: Ray Kobus, Israel Avila and Cesar Aceves had goals for visiting T.F. United (8-2, 3-1) in the South Suburban Blue. Dave Gutierrez made nine saves in recording the shutout.

Tinley Park 3, Oak Forest 0: Sergio Zambrano scored twice for host Tinley Park (5-2, 3-1) in the South Suburban Blue. Danny Daluga garnered his fifth shutout of the season.

Argo 2, Shepard 0: Goals by Jerry Patino and Matt Sulamk spurred visiting Argo (2-5, 2-2) in the South Suburban Red. David Warciak made nine saves in notching his second shutout.

Morgan Park Academy 2, Christian Liberty 0: Nick Boarden’s two goals led host Morgan Park Academy (5-3).

Bremen 4, Evergreen Park 0: Alejandro Mendez had all the goals for visiting Bremen (6-2, 4-0) in the South Suburban Red.

Marist 5, Joliet Catholic 1: Eddie Cunningham and Brian Greenfield netted two goals apiece for host Marist (5-4, 1-0) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Eisenhower 6, Richards 2: Sami Ahmed had both goals for visiting Richards in the South Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way Invitational

Reavis 1, Plainfield South 1: Bryan Lopez scored for host Reavis (7-3-1).

Boys Golf

Oak Forest 170, T.F. North 241: Medalist Dylan Roth shot a 41 to lead Oak Forest in the South Suburban Blue meet at Dunne National.

Chicago Christian 151, Oak Lawn 188: Chicago Christian’s Jay Timmer (35) turned in the top round at Stony Creek.

Reavis 177, Eisenhower 178: Eisenhower’s Vinny Curta led all golfers with a 36 in the South Suburban Red dual at Stony Creek.

Marian Catholic 169, St. Rita 178: Neil Doyle, Ryan Kelly and Casey Domke posted rounds of 42 in pacing Marian Catholic at Idlewild. St. Rita’s Darren O’Hanlon carded a 41 in capturing medalist honors.

Richards 149, Argo 175: Matt Kendryna, of Richards, was the medalist by virtue of his 35 in the South Suburban Red competition at Stony Creek.

Lincoln-Way East 153, Lincoln-Way Central 162: Medalist Jake White recorded a 35 in pacing Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Green Garden.

Joliet Township co-op 155, Stagg 169: Jake McCollum, of Joliet Township co-op, led the field with a 37 in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Palos Golf Club.

Evergreen Park 173, Shepard 175: Medalist J.R. Wazio shot a 40 to show the way for Evergreen Park in the South Suburban crossover at Gleneagles.

Girls Golf

Lemont 184, Tinley Park 267: Medalist Bridget Lynn posted a 42 for Lemont in the South Suburban dual at Woodbine.

Lincoln-Way East 172, Lincoln-Way Central 183: Kelly Sterling (37) was the medalist in leading Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Red meet at Green Garden.

Plainfield South 197, Lincoln-Way West 247: Plainfield South’s Alex Catalano paced all competitors with a 45 at Wedgewood in Plainfield.

Girls Tennis

Andrew 7, Thornwood co-op 0: Kelly Tekiela and Megan McGuire (No. 1 doubles) were among the winners for host Andrew (3-3, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

De La Salle 3, Resurrection 2: Khalia Powell prevailed at No. 1 singles for host De La Salle in the GCAC.

Nazareth 3, Marian Catholic 2: Gaby Rosales (No. 1) and Giselle Beebe (No. 2) prevailed in singles for host Marian Catholic (6-6, 1-4) in the East Suburban Catholic dual.

Benet 3, Providence 2: Sisters Maggie and Kelly Ruane prevailed at No. 1 doubles for host Providence (12-5, 2-3) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Reavis 4, Bremen 1: Alexis Kasper’s victory at No. 1 singles aided visiting Reavis in the South Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way Central 5, Bradley 2: Mariah Sakellaris (No. 1 singles) won in straight sets to boost visiting Lincoln-Way Central (6-5, 2-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
