Chicago Christian 25-24-25, Immaculate Conception 22-26-19: Emily Workman totaled 22 assists, 11 digs and eight kills to lift host Chicago Christian (13-4, 3-0). Anna Kamp (10 kills, 7 digs) and Jessica Krygsheld (7 kills, 18 digs) also starred for the Knights in the Suburban Christian Blue.
Richards 25-25, Mount Assisi 21-22: Kate Sullivan totaled 11 assists and six digs for host Richards (14-4). Shannon Gardner added six kills for the Bulldogs.
Marian Catholic 14-25-25, St. Ignatius 25-21-21: Maddie Huekels dished out 33 assists and Amber Clay had 16 kills to propel visiting Marian Catholic (7-8).
Illiana Christian 25-25, Ridgewood 17-9: Hannah Wegner had 14 assists and Sydnee Van Beek had six kills for host Illiana Christian (9-8, 5-0) in the Metro Suburban.
Mount Carmel 7, St. Francis de Sales 0: Luis Rivera and Pavao Alebic each scored twice for visiting Mount Carmel (5-4-3, 2-0-2) in the Catholic League.
Crete-Monee 1, Marian Catholic 1: Luiscarlo Avila’s goal late in the second half aided host Marian Catholic (9-4-3). Jake Cogan scored for Crete-Monee (6-3-1) on an assist from Fernando Aguirre.
Beecher 6, Watseka 3: Bailey Schultz and Jackson Strick each had a goal and two assists for visiting Beecher (10-5).
Joliet Catholic 4, Providence 3: Luke Picard scored two goals for visiting Providence (1-11).
Marist 2, St. Patrick 0: Goals by Brian Greenfield and Brendan McHugh keyed host Marist (7-4, 2-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Noah Kemp made five saves in recording his third shutout.
Bloom 1, Lincoln-Way West 1: Kip Pavlovich set up Kevin Staniszewski on the score for host Lincoln-Way West (7-2-3). Jose Sanchez (goal) and Eliberto Gomez (assist) were the main contributors for Bloom (8-4-1).
Illinois Lutheran 2, Grant Park 1 (SO): Justin Schmidtke scored in regulation and Evan Henschel had the deciding goal in the penalty-kick shootout to boost visiting Illinois Lutheran (10-2, 5-0) in River Valley play.
Oak Forest 157, Stagg 171: Dave Karwoski, of Oak Forest, led all individuals with a 38 at Palos Hills Golf Club.
Marian Catholic 160, Andrew 166: Andrew’s Joe Rymsza and Marian Catholic’s Neil Doyle tied for medalist honors with rounds of 39 at Silver Lake’s North Course.
Richards 185, T.F. South 191: Matt Kendryna, of Richards, posted a 39 to capture medalist honors in the South Suburban crossover at Balmoral Woods.
Eisenhower 198, Rich South 219: Vinny Curta had the lowest score (42) of the day in guiding Eisenhower at Deer Creek.
Mount Carmel 164, Illiana Christian 166: Illiana Christian’s Matthew Zandstra and Mount Carmel’s Jake Lenti (37 each) were co-medalists at Palmira.
Providence 173, Lemont 186: Medalist Anna Goggins shot a 41 to lead Providence at Woodbine.
Stagg 209, Bolingbrook 251: Stagg’s Natalie Collina (49) was the medalist in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Silver Lake.
Lincoln-Way East 189, Lincoln-Way North 207: Kelly Sterling, of Lincoln-Way East, led the competition with a 38 in the SouthWest Suburban Red meet at Ravisloe.
Sandburg 163, Joliet Township co-op 198: Sandburg’s Frankie Saban recorded a 38 to secure medalist accolades in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Silver Lake.
Lockport 188, Homewood-Flossmoor 200: Medalist Jenna Mitchell shot a 43 for Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Broken Arrow. Kaleigh Wilkins (45) had the top round for Homewood-Flossmoor.
Shepard 3, Argo 2: Dolores Rodriguez notched a win at No. 2 singles for host Argo in the South Suburban Red.
Chicago State Invitational: Kyle Bahnick led all golfers with a 72 in leading St. Xavier (299) to second place after Round 1 at Harborside in Chicago. Kirby Brown and Brendan Ryan added 75s for the Cougars, who finished the day one stroke behind Wisconsin-Green Bay.
