Lincoln-Way East 1, Lincoln-Way Central 0: Alan Hernandez scored on an assist from Blake Tempel to lift host Lincoln-Way East (7-4-2, 1-0). Sean McGovern (7 saves) recorded his third shutout for the Griffins in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Lincoln-Way Central fell to 4-7-4, 0-2.
T.F. United 5, Eisenhower 3: Ray Kobus and Jose Sandoval had two goals apiece for host T.F. United (11-3-1, 5-2) in the South Suburban crossover.
El Diablo Tournament
Illinois Lutheran 2, Reed-Custer 0: Goals by Evan Henschel and Cameron Borns propelled visiting Illinois Lutheran (12-5) in the event hosted by Peotone. Jacob Heyn made three saves for the Chargers.
Grant Park Invitational: Medalist Michael Barber (75) sparked Beecher (343) to a first-place finish at Minne Monesse in Grant Park.
SouthWest Suburban Blue Tournament: Medalist Frankie Saban shot a 77 in leading Sandburg (322) to the title at Silver Lake’s South Course. Saban’s teammates, Emily Cosler (78) and Emilyee McGiles (79), were second and third, respectively, followed by Homewood-Flossmoor’s Kendall Paris (86). Lockport (362) was second in team standings, followed by Stagg (389), Joliet Township co-op (393) and Homewood-Flossmoor (398).
CCAC Crossover Tournament: Marie Hackert totaled 22 kills as St. Xavier (8-8, 3-3) split its two matches at Olivet Nazarene. Kelli Shaffer added 55 assists for the Cougars, who beat Purdue-Calumet 25-19, 25-14, 29-27 and lost Olivet Nazarene 25-15, 25-19, 25-17
