Keeping up with Crete-Monee in the Southland conference race, Rich Central (7-0, 3-0) scored four first-half touchdowns on the way to an easy win in Olympia Fields.
The Rich Central running attack. Hoover ran seven times for 86 yards and a touchdown, a 65-yard run, and Ahmad McClellan finished with three rushing scores (30, 2, 4 yards) and 116 yards on 14 carries.
Punting from its own 48-yard line, Rich South (1-6, 0-3) turned the ball over with a bad snap for a loss of 26 yards. Central capitalized, quarterback Michael Hoover (8-of-16, 104 yards) hitting Jordan Fuqua six plays later for an 11-yard touchdown reception with 45 seconds left in the first quarter. The Olympians went up 7-0 and never looked back.

Rich South never was able to generate a big drive offensively. The Stars were held to negative nine yards rushing, mustering 51 yards of total offense.
