Class 3A Lincoln-Way Central Regional
Lincoln-Way East 4, Andrew 3: Sean Sibley scored twice to vault Lincoln-Way East (12-6-2) into the title round. Conor Hughes and Bryan Dillberg had the other goals for the Griffins. Andrew closed 8-9-2.
Class 3A Stagg Regional
T.F United 2, Stagg 0: Goals by Ray Kobus and Reynaldo Porter lifted T.F. United (16-6-1) in the semifinal. Gabe Gutierrez made 11 saves in notching the shutout. Stagg finished 11-6.
Class 2A Lemont Regional
Lemont 8, Brooks 0: Ray Delatorre netted two goals in putting Lemont (14-8-2) into the championship.
Class 2A Lincoln-Way West Regional
Lincoln-Way West 6, Rich South 0: Ian McGrath scored three times and Tony Prospero recorded the shutout to pace Lincoln-Way West (13-7-3) in the semifinal.
Crete-Monee 5, Bogan 2: Jake Cogan contributed two goals and an assist for Crete-Monee (14-4-1) in the semifinal.
Class 2A Rich East Regional
Marian Catholic 6, Rich East 0: Alec Guarino’s hat trick propelled Marian Catholic (14-6-5) in the semifinal. Liam Fagan tacked on three assists for the Spartans.
Oak Forest 25-25, Hillcrest 15-11: Alyssa Kolecki had 14 assists and Alex Lambros provided 12 kills to lead visiting Oak Forest (11-24, 6-7). Jenna Brown added 12 digs and six kills for the Bengals in the South Suburban Blue.
Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Thornton 6-8: Emily Dobczyk registered 11 assists and Val Diesel had seven digs to boost visiting Lincoln-Way Central (27-7, 5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Kendall Carstens added four kills for the Knights.
T.F. South 25-25, T.F. North 5-16: Leah Lagestee and Briana Lilly spiked eight kills apiece for host T.F. South (25-4, 12-1) in the South Suburban Blue. Abbe Mullen chipped in 18 assists for the Rebels, who also received 10 service points each from Jenna Pasko and Cori Reynolds.
Homewood-Flossmoor 18-25-25, Bolingbrook 25-20-20: Helena Vallar dished out 14 assists and Candace Tate posted nine kills to power host Homewood-Flossmoor (24-10, 3-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Annalise Robinson aided the cause for the Vikings with 11 assists.
Oak Lawn 25-25, Eisenhower 19-16: Becky Bradshaw (7 kills, 10 digs) and Tracy Peck (6 kills, 9 digs) spearheaded host Oak Lawn (20-9, 12-1) in the South Suburban Red.
Lincoln-Way North 25-25, Thornwood 10-7: Casey Zimmerman, Allyson Cappel and Valen Manns put up six kills apiece for visiting Lincoln-Way North (27-6, 5-1). Grace Murphy added 10 digs for the Phoenix in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Marist 25-25, Carmel 20-25: Carolyn Yerkes finished with 23 digs to lead visiting Marist (24-9, 8-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Anne Marie Stifter added nine kills for the RedHawks, while Cameron Enright had eight kills and 14 digs.
Andrew 25-25, Thornridge 5-5: Rachel Bolden’s six assists and six aces keyed visiting Andrew (8-20, 3-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Baylee Panfil and Lauren Durkin added five kills apiece for the Thunderbolts.
Shepard 25-25, Richards 19-22: Caroline Graham notched 20 assists and Briana Volpentesta tacked on 10 digs for visiting Shepard (17-9, 10-3) in the South Suburban Red.
Lemont 25-25, Tinley Park 21-15: Katy Klein’s eight assists and Haley Sullivan’s 15 digs were instrumental for host Lemont (27-8, 12-1) in the South Suburban Blue. Shae Millinowisch tacked on seven assists for the Indians.
Lockport 19-25-25, Stagg 25-14-15: Lexi Mantas led host Stagg (14-20, 1-5) with 12 kills and nine digs in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Gianna Petrelli added 15 assists for the Chargers.
Girls Swimming & Diving
Oak Forest 62, Thornton Fractional co-op 31: Wins by Sarah Minnich in the 50-yard freestyle (28.58 seconds) and 200 freestyle (2 minutes, 29.34 seconds) led visiting Oak Forest in the South Suburban Blue. Jessica Maricich, of Thornton Fractional co-op, prevailed in the 100 butterfly (1:06.59) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.16).
Shepard 133, Crete-Monee 40: Annie Rangel won the 100-yard free (1:02.30) and 200 individual medley (2:34.05) to aid host Shepard. Crete-Monee’s Lauren Carlos was first in the 100 backstroke (1:13.60).
Reavis 136, Eisenhower 39: Sarah Visvardis, Liliana Tinoco, Alex Malmborg and Michelle Blake prevailed in the 200 medley relay (2:07.87) for visiting Reavis in the South Suburban Red.
St. Xavier 1, Cardinal Stritch 1: Rene Leon scored the tying goal in the 71st minute for visiting St. Xavier (6-7-1, 6-2-1) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Cardinal Stritch 1, St. Xavier 0: Danielle Koncius made six saves for visiting St. Xavier (4-10-1, 2-7) in the CCAC.
Cardinal Stritch 25-25-25, St. Xavier 13-13-17: Kelli Shaffer had 14 assists and Meghan Falsey added seven kills to lead host St. Xavier (11-11, 4-6) in the CCAC.
