Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Andrew 8-13: Mariel Leibovitz had 14 assists and Claire Vrabec served eight aces to spark visiting Lincoln-Way Central (28-7, 6-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Jacqueline Langer aided the cause for the Knights with five kills and seven digs. Rachel Boden provided five assists to lead Andrew (8-21, 4-3).
Benet 25-25, Providence 22-22: Rachel Alles notched 12 assists and Allie Marthaler had 11 digs to guide host Providence (21-13, 4-4) in the East Suburban Catholic. Annie Cummings tacked on eight kills for the Celtics.
Sandburg 25-25, Homewood-Flossmoor 16-21: Kelly McGovern had 18 digs and Bridget Lebert drilled eight kills to boost visiting Sandburg (28-7, 7-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Annalise Robinson had 10 assists for Homewood-Flossmoor (24-11, 3-4) and Skylar Hildebrand contributed 14 digs. Mackenzie Reid led the Vikings in kills with seven.
Lincoln-Way North 25-25, Thornridge 4-6: Shannon Murphy dished out 11 assists as host Lincoln-Way North (28-6, 6-1) captured a share of the SouthWest Suburban Red title.
Stagg 19-25-30, Joliet West 25-18-28: Lexi Mantas had 18 kills and 13 digs for visiting Stagg (15-20, 2-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Gianna Petrelli added 18 digs for the Chargers, who also received 12 digs and nine service points from Hannah Henderson.
Lincoln-Way East 25-25, Joliet Central 17-10: Taylor Nirchi had 17 assists and Jessica Lindsey slammed eight kills to power visiting Lincoln-Way East (21-14, 5-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Lemont 91, Shepard 88: Annette Lesnicki won the 100-yard butterfly (1 minute, 4.11 seconds) and 500 freestyle (5:47.35) to propel visiting Lemont in the South Suburban crossover. Erin Bendle added victories in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.47) and 200 individual medley (2:29.23) for the Indians. Shepard’s Mary Lippert was tops in the 50 free (27.50 seconds) and 100 free (1:00.49).
Homewood-Flossmoor 141, Joliet West co-op 38: Payton Richardson prevailed in the 100 fly (1:10.97) and 100 backstroke (1:13.44) for host Homewood-Flossmoor in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Richardson also helped the Vikings win the 200 medley relay (2:08.65) along with Katie Teykl, Susanna Reese and Ryan Evans.
