Hillcrest 60, Argo 32: Tanzania Sherrill netted 15 points to lead host Hillcrest (6-3, 3-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Shayla Joyner tacked on nine points and nine rebounds for the Hawks. Sabrina Williams compiled eight points and 10 rebounds for Argo (4-3, 0-3).
Bloom 63, Rich East 62: Anika Johnson (25 points, 16 rebounds) scored with no time remaining to lift visiting Bloom (3-6, 1-1) in the Southland. Ariana Dampier tacked on 24 points for the Blazing Trojans. Jordan Towery led Rich East (3-4, 1-2) with 16 points, while Camari Lloyd added 14 points and eight rebounds.
T.F. South 64, Richards 31: Ninah Bertrand totaled 26 points and five steals to key host T.F. South (6-1, 3-0). Ren’Cia Rolling tacked on 14 points and nine assists for the Rebels in the South Suburban crossover. Sydni Tears’ 15 points were the most for Richards (3-4, 0-3).
Oak Lawn 62, Lemont 23: Jannah Mahmoud dropped in 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead host Oak Lawn (9-0, 3-0). Brianna Markusic (12 rebounds), LaTondra Brooks (6 steals) and Brooke Annerino added 11 points apiece for the Spartans. Lemont is 5-4, 2-1.
Evergreen Park 54, Tinley Park 52 (OT): Megan Pfister’s three-pointer with eight seconds left won it for host Evergreen Park (7-6, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover. Pfister finished with 16 points and Nicole Larkin had 13. Caitlin Sudduth had a team-best 16 points for Tinley Park (5-6, 1-2). Sam Alberto added 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Titans.
Crete-Monee 66, Kankakee 28: Marsha Howard had 20 points and 11 rebounds for visiting Crete-Monee (7-1, 2-0) in the Southland.
Riverside-Brookfield 75, Illiana Christian 35: Samantha Bloom scored 18 points to key host Riverside-Brookfield (9-0, 3-0) in the Metro Suburban. Illiana Christian fell to 3-7, 0-4.
Trinity 71, Queen of Peace 15: Maura Molloy (10 points) was among the contributors for visiting Trinity (9-0, 3-0) in the GCAC Red. Queen of Peace dropped to 0-11, 0-3.
Sandburg 1,957, Bolingbrook 1,822: Sandburg’s Josh Harder led all competitors with a 264 game and 426 series in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Orland Bowl.
Lincoln-Way North 1,981, Lincoln-Way Central 1,896: Justin Lennhardt rolled games of 213 and 222 to propel Lincoln-Way North at Tinley Park Bowl. Kyle Pijarowski added a 227 game and 430 series for the Phoenix in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Jake Keagle’s 420 series led Lincoln-Way Central.
Tinley Park 2,008, Reavis 1,597: Nick Shupryt, of Tinley Park, paced the field with a 277 game and 501 series at Centennial Lanes. Orlando Sanmiguel registered a team-high 357 series for Reavis.
T.F. South 2,333, Oak Forest 1,854: T.F. South’s Andrew Johnson (258 game) was the leading individual by virtue of his 490 series in the South Suburban Blue meet at Lynwood Bowl. Taveon Roberson (247 game) chipped in a 483 series for the Rebels.
Lemont 1,762, Bremen 1,715: Mike Martinez, of Lemont, finished atop the standings with a 223 game and 437 series at Oak Forest Bowl. Russell Deer had a 216 game and 426 series to lead Bremen in the South Suburban Blue.
Andrew 2,152, Lincoln-Way East 1,622: Nick Ghilardi notched a 297 game and 551 series to lift Andrew in the SouthWest Suburban Red meet at Orland Bowl.
Eisenhower 1,720, Hillcrest 1,715: Hillcrest’s Xavier Muhammad had a 256 game and meet-high 503 series in the South Suburban crossover. Russell Martin contributed a 267 game for Eisenhower.
Shepard 1,909, Argo 1,474: Cody Larson (224 game) and Eric Walters (411) steered Shepard in the South Suburban Red meet at Centennial Lanes.
Richards 2,126, T.F. North 1,721: Steve Grant posted games of 255 and 238 to spark Richards in the South Suburban crossover at Arena Lanes.
Brother Rice 2,537, Leo 1,868: Anthony Butler had a 265 game and 608 series to spark Brother Rice in the Catholic League South meet at AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons.
De La Salle 2,704, St. Laurence 2,555: Matt Corona finished with a 236 game and 628 series for De La Salle in the Catholic League South.
Tinley Park 1,605, Eisenhower 1,570: Sonya Addison bowled a 201 game and 378 series to propel Tinley Park in the South Suburban crossover at Burr Oak Bowl.
Richards 1,663, Oak Forest 1,581: Oak Forest’s Erica Bergstrom had the top game (200) and series (392) in the South Suburban crossover. Jessica Kimbrough paced Richards with a 193 game and 376 series at Oak Forest Bowl.
Andrew 1,692, Sandburg 1,638: Ashley Sparrey’s 390 series guided Andrew at Orland Bowl. Jessica Colson, of Sandburg, had the top game (203) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Argo 1,489, Oak Lawn 1,388: Amanda Weiss posted a 335 series to spark Argo in the South Suburban Red. Shannon McGuire led Oak Lawn with a 188 game and 322 series at AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons.
Lemont 1,636, Hillcrest 1,377: Lemont’s Kyra Udziela was the standout in the South Suburban Blue after notching a 256 game and 467 series at Brunswick Zone XL in Homewood.
Lincoln-Way East 1,699, Bolingbrook 1,552: Michelle Rybarczyk registered a 243 game and 456 series to power Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Orland Bowl.
Lockport 1,875, Lincoln-Way Central 1,412: Marissa Soberino, of Lockport, finished atop the leaderboard by virtue of her 237 game and 470 series in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Laraway Lanes.
Lincoln-Way Central 30, Sandburg 21: Danny Harris (126 pounds) and Sean Kelly (195) were among the winners for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (10-1, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Richards quadrangular: Rene Sanchez (126) won all three of his matches in leading Reavis past T.F. South 43-15, Bremen 34-24 and Richards 38-24. Tino Abarca (106 pounds), Moe Sbitan (120), Kyle Galason (138), Sam Almousa (145) and Jacob Kaki (heavyweight) added two wins apiece for the Rams in the South Suburban meet. Josh Rooney and Javier Soto each posted three wins for Bremen, which defeated Richards 26-24 and T.F. South 39-27.
Lincoln-Way Central 131, Thornton Fractional co-op 38: Wins by Dylan Sterling in the 50-yard freestyle (23.38 seconds), Ryan Sterling in the 100 freestyle (53.06) and Ian Dorencz in the 200 individual medley (2 minutes, 21.12 seconds) boosted host Lincoln-Way Central. The Sterlings also helped the Knights prevail in the 200 free relay (1:36.22) and 200 medley relay (1:46.90).
