Boys Basketball

Stagg 64, Lincoln-Way East 50: Kevin White netted 18 points and Nick Sims scored 17 to boost visiting Stagg (8-0, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Lincoln-Way East fell to 1-5, 0-2.

Tinley Park 49, Evergreen Park 33: Kelvin Dorsey contributed 12 points and Femi Elutilo had 11 for host Tinley Park (3-4, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Issac Matthews had 12 points for Evergreen Park (2-4, 0-3).

Hillcrest 67, Argo 38: Allen Jones’ game-high 18 points steered visiting Hillcrest (4-3, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Taylor Adway aided the cause for the Hawks with 15 points. Tyler Mitchell posted nine points for Argo (0-6, 0-3).

St. Joseph 60, Providence 41: Ryan Brankin tossed in 13 points and Troy Howatt added 10 for visiting Providence (4-3, 1-2) in the Catholic League crossover.

Marist 52, St. Patrick 51 (2 OTs): Nic Weishar (8 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists) scored with four seconds remaining to ignite visiting Marist (5-1) in its East Suburban Catholic opener. Jeremiah Ferguson scored 19 points to lead the RedHawks.

Bradley 75, Andrew 36: Gino Karopulos collected 10 points and four rebounds to lead visiting Andrew (3-3, 0-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Thornton 51, Thornridge 46: Jamani Pierce (6 rebounds) and Leslie Wilson piled up 11 points each to power visiting Thornton (4-3, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Darrion Robinson had 14 points to pace Thornridge (1-7, 0-2). Billy Randle and Xavier Robinson each tacked on 10 points and six rebounds for the Falcons.

St. Francis de Sales 49, St. Laurence 43: Rich Lamb (13 points) and Tim Delaney (12) were the top scorers for host St. Laurence (1-6, 0-3) in the Catholic League crossover.

T.F. North 79, Eisenhower 78: Sadiq Salisu’s basket with 7.7 seconds left was the winner for host T.F. North (3-0, 3-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Dick Jordan led the Meteors with 23 points, Salisu scored 16 and Vance Johnson added 15. Calviontae Washington had 20 points for Eisenhower (3-4, 1-2) and Vinny Curta scored 18.

Reavis 62, Bremen 51: Eddie Puha racked up a game-best 32 points and Abdel Ishtaiah added 17 to lead host Reavis (7-1, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Deon Jackson’s 21 points were the most for Bremen (3-3, 0-3).

Bloom 74, Rich East 64: Jared Johnson put in 19 points for visiting Bloom (4-3, 2-0) in Southland play. Quentin Moore had 20 points for Rich East (2-2, 0-2).

Immaculate Conception 75, Chicago Christian 58: Marcus Parker paced host Chicago Christian (4-3, 0-1) with 18 points in the Suburban Christian Gold.

Crete-Monee 80, Kankakee 74: Brandon Johnson scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to spark visiting Crete-Monee (5-2, 2-0) in the Southland.

Martin Luther College Tournament

Illinois Lutheran 49, Nebraska Lutheran 39: Mack Newson scored 22 points and Collin Borns added 16 to lead Illinois Lutheran (2-2) in New Ulm, Minn.

Girls Basketball

Homewood-Flossmoor 73, Stagg 43: Amarah Coleman totaled 17 points and six assists for visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (5-0, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Hannah Henderson scored 16 points to lead Stagg (3-4, 0-1).

T.F. North 48, Eisenhower 33: Tyra Johnson (11 points, 9 rebounds) and Chanel Howard (10 points) sparked visiting T.F. North (4-2, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Malika Johnson poured in a game-high 16 points for Eisenhower.

Lincoln-Way West 55, Thornridge 39: Emily Atsinger, Courtney O’Donnell and Kaitlan Matthews contributed 15 points apiece for host Lincoln-Way West (5-2, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Lockport 39, Joliet West 27: Destiny Hollins put in 11 points to key visiting Lockport (5-2, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Reavis 37, Bremen 26: Ashley Galason posted 13 points and Katelyn LoRusso scored 12 to aid visiting Reavis (4-5, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover.

Benet/Naperville North Tournament

Providence 68, Oak Park-River Forest 49: Alyssa Jurges tossed in 23 points to guide Providence (9-2). Emily Bowles added 12 points for the Celtics and Mary Beth Galick grabbed 10 rebounds.

Lincoln-Way North 47, Andrew 41: Kayla Horlacher sank six three-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead host Lincoln-Way North (5-2, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Bradley 102, Lincoln-Way Central 86: Sami Wisniewski scored 21 points to pace visiting Lincoln-Way Central (4-4, 0-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Girls Bowling

Oak Forest 1,499, Lincoln-Way North 1,477: Oak Forest’s Erica Bergstrom led all individuals with a 208 game and 367 series. Ronnie Villasenor paced Lincoln-Way North with a 336 series at Oak Forest Bowl.

Wrestling

Lincoln-Way East 52, Bolingbrook 20: Jake DiBenedetto (106 pounds), Jason Stokes (113), Brian Burns (152) and Nicky Allegretti (heavyweight) won by fall for host Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Lockport 57, Stagg 15: Dan Radcliffe (132), Shayne Oster (138), Demetre Smith (182) and Tyler Johnson (195) were among those notching pins for host Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
