Big Dipper Tournament
Rich East 92, Hales 79: Don Henderson posted 17 points and 15 rebounds to propel Rich East (5-3) to a spot in the fifth-place game. Calvin Harrington aided the cause for the Rockets with 16 points and eight rebounds.
King 55, Rich South 43: Jeremy Ruffin (13 points, 11 rebounds) and Myles McCoy (12 points) were the top performers for Rich South (8-4), which will play next for the seventh place.
Leo 56, Collier (Fla.) 37: Darius Oliver had 16 points and 10 rebounds as Leo (6-6) earned a berth in the consolation championship.
Crete-Monee 53, Perspectives-Calumet 52: Tyler Williams scored 13 points and pulled in six rebounds to help Crete-Monee (8-4) advance to the consolation championship. Mike Nelson added 11 points for the Warriors.
Rich Central 52, Tinley Park 48: Marcus Smith netted a team-high 17 points in leading Rich Central (3-9) to a spot in the consolation fifth-place game. Kelvin Dorsey scored 20 points to lead Tinley Park (3-8).
U-High 67, Seton 57: Christopher Seaton rang up a team-leading 20 points for Seton (3-8) in consolation play.
Marist 57, Jacksonville 52: Bradley Hill notched 13 points to lead Marist (11-2) in the ninth-place contest. Brian Holland and Kevin Lerma added 12 points each for the RedHawks.
Jacksonville 63, St. Laurence 54: Quentin Forberg posted 14 points to propel St. Laurence (2-9). Rich Lamb (8 rebounds) and Matt Gurgone added nine points apiece for the Vikings.
Marist 91, Eisenhower 79: Nic Weishar’s 28 points and seven rebounds boosted Marist. Calviontae Washington led Eisenhower (6-9) with 15 points and six rebounds.
East Aurora Tournament
Oak Lawn 61, Hubbard 47: Josh Prince contributed 14 points and nine rebounds for Oak Lawn (2-6). David Stacy and Justin Schutt added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Spartans.
Immaculate Conception/Westmont Tournament
Evergreen Park 64, Immaculate Conception 47: Tobi Oladejo had 22 points and 10 rebounds to put Evergreen Park (3-5) in the title round. Jordan Brown added 16 points for the Mustangs.
Clifton Central 78, Illiana Christian 72: Matthew Zandstra registered 16 points to pace Illiana Christian (5-6) in the small school championship
Carver 64, Richards 62: Josh Meier poured in 28 points and collected 21 rebounds for Richards (9-3) in the large school third-place game.
Lincoln-Way North 49, Andrew 45 (OT): Steve Pfister totaled nine points and six rebounds to lift Lincoln-Way North (3-6) in the large school seventh-place game. Liam Jenkins chipped in eight points and five rebounds for the Phoenix. Luke Hook, of Andrew (3-7), led all players with 17 points and also hauled in eight rebounds. Jacob Platt added eight points and nine rebounds for the Thunderbolts.
Mount Carmel 48, United Township 40: Montana Byrd had 15 points and David Nichols added 12 for Mount Carmel (10-4) in the seventh-place game.
Warren 60, Bloom 54: James Coleman compiled 19 points and eight rebounds to pace Bloom (7-5) in the fifth-place game.
Plainfield North 50, Lockport 47: John Campbell rang up 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Lockport (6-6) in the consolation championship. Ralph Blakney added 17 points and six rebounds for the Porters.
Lockport 62, Bloomington 59: Ralph Blakney and Grover Anderson put in 16 points apiece for Lockport (6-5) in the consolation semifinal. John Campbell tacked on 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Porters.
Proviso West Tournament
Hinsdale Central 58, Homewood-Flossmoor 55 (OT): Tai Odiase had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead Homewood-Flossmoor (6-5) in the sixth-place bracket. Dorian McCraney tacked on 18 points for the Vikings.
Benet 76, Hillcrest 51: Allen Jones scored 10 points and Taylor Adway had nine to lead Hillcrest (6-6) in the sixth-place bracket.
T.F. South 64, Proviso West 59: Brandon Johnson’s 12 points led T.F. South (6-7) to a berth in the consolation semifinal. Ka-Ton Mays (7 rebounds), Donald Stone and Jamahre Baker added 11 points apiece for the Rebels.
Lincoln-Way East 56, Reavis 55: Keith Gavin made the game-winning basket and also blocked a shot at the buzzer to pace Lincoln-Way East (3-7) in the large school third-place game. Josh Jones had a team-high 22 points for the Griffins. Eddie Puha had 31 points and 12 rebounds to pace Reavis (8-4).
Plainfield Central 53, Argo 38: Tyler Mitchell (19 points) and Bryant Smith (10) were the leading scorers for Argo (3-8) in the large school consolation championship.
Lincoln-Way West 56, Chicago Christian 52: Hayden Witt’s 30 points guided Lincoln-Way West (6-3) in the small school third-place game. Blaine Wright totaled 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Chicago Christian (5-7).
Lemont 52, Romeoville 51: Mike Wisz scored a team-best 21 points for Lemont (7-6) in the small school seventh-place game.
State Farm Classic
Thornwood 70, Plainfield South 56: Donte Thomas notched 20 points to spur Thornwood (9-3) in the large school consolation semifinal. Kaliph Fagan added 17 points for the Thunderbirds in Bloomington.
Peoria Notre Dame 61, T.F. North 59: Sadiq Salisu tossed in 17 points to lead T.F. North (5-5) in the large school consolation fifth-place game.
Lake Forest 56, Stagg 42: Jeff Voral had a team-best 19 points for Stagg (11-3) in the quarterfinal.
Conant 59, Providence 43: Ryan Brankin (14 points) and Mitch Vander Wey (13) were the primary scorers for Providence (5-7).
Marquette (Ind.) 66, De La Salle 64 (OT): Martez Cameron’s 20 points led visiting De La Salle (4-8).
Ag. Science Tournament
Evergreen Park 67, Longwood 34: Tournament MVP Nicole Larkin scored 14 points in steering Evergreen Park (11-7) to the championship. Kortni Lewis and Jonie Nard added 11 points each for the Mustangs.
Ag. Science 53, Kenwood 28: LaTrece Roberts had 16 points to lead Ag. Science (8-8) in the fifth-place game.
New Trier 47, Mother McAuley 43: Molly O’Malley scored 11 points to lead Mother McAuley (11-3) in the semifinal.
Hillcrest Holiday Classic
Hillcrest 71, Marist 59: Tanzania Sherrill scored 18 points and Tierra Sanders netted 15 to boost Hillcrest (10-4) in the third-place game.
Minooka 44, Providence 43: Alyssa Jurges tossed in 16 points for Providence (12-6) in the third-place contest. Maeve Garvey (10 points) and Mary Beth Galick (7 points, 10 rebounds) also starred for the Celtics.
Andrew 75, Lincoln-Way Central 72: Michelle Borgen scored 27 points and Georgia Alexakos netted 23 to pace Andrew (4-8) in the fifth-place game. Candace Finnin scored 23 points for Lincoln-Way Central (6-7).
Plainfield South 47, Shepard 43: Courtney Dalton dropped in 12 points for Shepard (2-13) in the seventh-place game.
Marian Catholic 52, Trinity 22: Ashton Millender poured in 14 points to guide Marian Catholic (12-3) in the third-place contest.
Oswego East Tournament
Oswego East 41, Lemont 31: Kim Jerantowski finished with nine points for Lemont (7-8) in the fifth-place game.
Reavis 56, Niles North 37: Katelyn LoRusso tossed in 13 points for Reavis (8-8) in the fifth-place game.
Morton 50, Argo 47 (2 OTs): Sabrina Williams compiled 19 points and 12 rebounds to propel Argo (6-7) in the seventh-place game. Sharnita Breeze tacked on 12 points and nine rebounds for the Argonauts.
Reavis 47, Morton 26: Natalie Dudek and Paulina Gal scored eight points apiece for Reavis in the early session.
Niles North 42, Argo 36: Sabrina Williams contributed 10 points to lead Argo in its opening game.
State Farm Classic
Morgan Park 49, Glenwood 48: Tammy Russell scored 16 points and Bhrea Griffin added 14 to lead Morgan Park (8-3) in the large school seventh-place game in Normal.
W.W. South 56, Morgan Park 53: Shami Goodman scored 24 points and Tammy Russell added 12 to pace Morgan Park in its first contest of the day.
Reavis Invitational: Jessica Schram (1,285 series) was third in pacing Lincoln-Way West (5,497) to a third-place finish behind Metea Valley (5,741) and Leyden (5,578) at El-Mar Bowl. Ashley Kouba (1,228) came in fourth in leading Reavis (5,415) to fourth place in the 10-team meet.
Dvorak Invitational: Marist (207.50 points) won the team crown at Harlem thanks to championships from Nick Lukanich (113 pounds) and Alex Benoit (182). Tyler Johnson (195) captured his weight class in guiding Lockport (149.50) to a fourth-place showing. St. Rita’s Austin O’Connor (106) and Mount Carmel’s Bryce Brill (152) also earned top honors. Mount Carmel (108) was eighth in the 29-team field and St. Rita (81.50) was 15th.
Granite City Invitational: Joey Nelson won the title at 132 pounds in guiding Lincoln-Way Central (602.50) to a second-place finish in the 24-team meet. Bryce Gorman (170) and Bryan Ditchman (285) also won crowns for the Knights.
Blackhawk Charities Holiday Classic
Christian Brothers (Mo.) 5, Sandburg 1: Robbie Maxfield scored for Sandburg in quarterfinal play.
St. Xavier Holiday Classic
St. Xavier 76, Ashford 66: Morgan Stuut put in 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to power St. Xavier (12-3).
