Joliet West 77, Sandburg 73 (OT)
Visiting Joliet West rallied to force overtime, then outscored Sandburg 10-6 in the extra session to take home the overtime SouthWest Suburban Blue win. The win puts the Tigers at 5-8 overall and 1-4 in the Blue. Sandburg dropped to 4-8, 1-3.
Joliet West’s Keith Sims hit a free throw with 2.0 seconds left in regulation, sending the game into overtime tied at 67.
Joliet West’s Jeff Washington scored eight of his team-high 19 points in the overtime. Sandburg’s Niko Cahue scored seemingly every which way, finishing with 32 points and 11 rebounds.

Washington scored eight of his team’s 10 points in the overtime. Allias Roberts-Burnett scored 10 of his 16 points in the third quarter, while Max Ahern added 12 points for the Tigers. Sandburg’s Niko Kogionis had 15 points before fouling out in the fourth quarter.
