Boys Basketball: Lincoln-Way Central knocks off Lincoln-Way North 58-50

Lincoln-Way Central seniors Brad Bass (25 points) and Alex Parks (21) combined for 46 points as the host Knights (7-2, 2-2) defeated Lincoln-Way North (3-9, 1-3) Friday in SouthWest Suburban Red play.
Central owned a 39-13 advantage on the glass and trailed only once in the game. Bass and Parks came out on fire from behind the three-point line, drilling 7-of-12 three-pointers in the first half to help the Knights to a 33-29 halftime lead. Central led 49-35 entering the fourth quarter before North mounted a late run.
Bass had 16 rebounds to go along with his 25 points. Parks hauled down six rebounds. Lincoln-Way North’s Jeremy Toussaint came off the bench to score 18 points.
