TEAM Englewood 78, Southland Prep 62: Josh Buford scored a team-high 20 points for host Southland Prep (3-8).
Boylan 59, Homewood-Flossmoor 56: Tai Odiase put in a team-high 21 points to pace visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (7-6).
Evergreen Park 64, Indian Creek 54: Issac Matthews netted 20 points and Tony Weathersby tacked on 17 to boost visiting Evergreen Park 4-7).
Normal U-High 66, Morgan Park 65 (OT): Josh Cunningham posted 21 points for visiting Morgan Park (11-3).
Hillcrest 75, Rock Island 67: George McDaniel had 18 points to spark visiting Hillcrest (8-6). DeAngelo Isby and Allen Jones added 16 points each for the Hawks and Taylor Adway grabbed 14 rebounds.

Lake Zurich 65, Lincoln-Way Central 52: Brad Bass tossed in 18 points and Alex Parks added 15 to guide host Lincoln-Way Central (7-3).
McCracken County (Ky.) Festival of Hoops
Marian Catholic 80, Lausanne Collegiate (Tenn.) 63: Tyler Ulis chalked up 14 points and 11 assists to steer Marian Catholic (13-1) in Paducah, Ky.
Oak Lawn 60, Oak Forest 27: Brianna Markusic netted 23 points and hauled in nine rebounds to propel host Oak Lawn (14-1, 4-1). Jannah Mahmoud tacked on 16 points for the Spartans in the South Suburban crossover. Oak Forest fell to 7-8, 4-1.
Rich Central 54, Thornton 43: Vivian Imarenezor scored 20 points and Tayana Wilson netted 16 to power host Rich Central (13-5).
St. Joseph 49, De La Salle 44: Chardanae Hamilton posted a team-best 16 points for host De La Salle in the GCAC crossover.
Prepcasts Elite Shootout
St. Louis Incarnate Word 60, Marian Catholic 33: Teniya Page and Dajhae Mullins scored eight points apiece for Marian Catholic (13-4) in St. Louis.
SouthWest Suburban Blue Meet: Lockport’s Brandon Bonomo recorded a 1,397 series over six games in winning top individual honors at Orland Bowl. His teammate, Brian Baer (1,296), added a fourth-place showing in helping the Porters (6,269) capture the team crown by one pin over runner-up Bolingbrook. Joliet West (5,926) was third, followed by Sandburg (5,841), which produced the fifth-place individual in Josh Harder (1,258). Joliet Central (5,387) and Stagg (4,980) rounded out the field. Bolingbrook (96 points) won the overall conference title, which was determined by regular-season and tournament results. Lockport (86) took second, with Joliet West (79), Sandburg (65), Joliet Central (34) and Stagg (9) completing the list.
SouthWest Suburban Red Meet: Lincoln-Way West (6,169) won the title at Orland Bowl behind medalist Josh Glover (1,369), whose performance was 12 pins better than teammate Eric Ullian and Andrew’s Joe Rymsza. Lincoln-Way Central’s Seth Gajdorus (1,313) and Andrew’s Mike Dertz (1,288) rounded out the top five. Andrew (6,186) was second in the team standings, followed by Lincoln-Way North (6,104), Lincoln-Way Central (5,682) and Lincoln-Way East (4,742). Lincoln-Way West (110) also won the overall crown, with the rest of the field consisting of Andrew (87), Lincoln-Way North (79), Lincoln-Way Central (41) and Lincoln-Way East (14).
Catholic League Meet: St. Laurence (5,977) was second to Notre Dame (6,300) among the eight teams at Willowbrook Lanes in Darien. Dan Silva, of St. Patrick, was the individual winner by virtue of his 1,049 series over five games. The top area bowler was De La Salle’s Matt Corona (1,009), who finished fourth.
Leyden Invitational: Oak Forest (258.50) produced 11 place-winners – including five champions – in placing second behind Conant (259.50) in the 13-team meet. Francis Edelen (106), Danny Swan (113), Mousa Jodeh (126), Joel Barker (160) and Patrick Kristin (170) won their respective weight classes for the Bengals, who also had two runners-up and two third-place winners. Collin Farley (170) contributed a second-place finish to aid De La Salle (53), which came in ninth.
Polo Invitational: Curtis Adams, of Evergreen Park, was the champion in the 132-pound class. Will Jones (120) and Josh Harvey (126) added third-place finishes for the Mustangs. Team scores were not provided.
Sycamore Invitational: Justin Avant (220) finished fifth to lead Marian Catholic (191.50), which was 21st in the 25-team tournament won by Hononegah (634).
Lincoln-Way West mega duals: Kyle Ruettiger (126), Matt Ryan (152) and Ray Rodriguez (195) were among the triple-match winners for Lincoln-Way West, which defeated Tinley Park 72-0, Plainfield East 36-34 and Morris 45-25.
St. Xavier 106, Indiana-South Bend 85: Brad Karp (6 assists, 5 rebounds) scored a game-high 28 points to become St. Xavier’s all-time scoring leader. Karp increased his total to 2,530 in surpassing Mike Walaczek (2,517) on the Cougars’ career list. Jack Krieger added 25 points for visiting St. Xavier (16-2, 6-1) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Lewis 82, Missouri-St. Louis 80: Jeff Jarosz put in 22 points and made the game-winning basket with six seconds remaining to lift visiting Lewis (11-1, 3-1) in the Great Lakes Valley. Ryan Jackson (13 points) and Julian Lewis (12 points, 10 rebounds) also starred for the Flyers.
St. Francis 70, Roosevelt 63: Chris Miller’s 16 points and five assists keyed host St. Francis (7-9, 4-2) in the CCAC.
Grand View 25-25-25, St. Xavier 12-16-22: Jacob Siska provided 14 assists and three aces for visiting St. Xavier in its season opener.
Lewis 25-25-25, Pacific 19-19-20: Geoff Powell (7 digs) and Bobby Walsh registered seven kills apiece to pace visiting Lewis (2-2). BJ Boldog added 24 assists for the Flyers.
St. Xavier 82, Indiana-South Bend 67: Morgan Stuut poured in 33 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead visiting St. Xavier (15-3, 6-1) in the CCAC. Suzie Broski added 21 points and six rebounds in helping the Cougars extend their winning streak to 10 games.
Calumet 61, Trinity Christian 51: Allie Paluchniak had 14 points and five rebounds to pace visiting Trinity Christian (5-13, 1-6) in the CCAC. Erynn Schuh added 11 points for the Trolls and Caitlin Cody provided 10 points and six rebounds.
Lewis 67, Missouri-St. Louis 60: Jamie Johnson contributed 18 points, four rebounds and three assists to pace visiting Lewis (10-2, 4-0) in the GLVC. Mariyah Brawner-Henley tacked on 11 points and 17 rebounds for the Flyers.
Roosevelt 76, St. Francis 67: Kaitlyn Ray finished with 14 points and Cydney Weisflog (6 rebounds) scored 12 to aid host St. Francis (3-15, 1-4) in the CCAC.
Lewis 172, Carthage 90: Tyson Polack won the 100-yard backstroke (55.39 seconds), 200 backstroke (1 minute, 58.48 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:00.81) to boost visiting Lewis (7-3).
Lewis 151, Carthage 111: Shannon Sullivan prevailed in the 100 free (53.78 seconds), 200 free (1:54.67) and 500 free (5:16.94) to aid visiting Lewis (7-2).
