Boys Basketball

Morgan Park 102, Harlan 55: Josh Cunningham totaled 35 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks to power host Morgan Park (13-3, 6-1). Charlie Moore tacked on 21 points and eight assists for the Mustangs in the Public League Red-South.

Tinley Park 86, Reavis 67: Kelvin Dorsey’s 22 points keyed host Tinley Park (5-9, 3-3) in the South Suburban crossover. Abdal Ishtaiah’s 20 points led Reavis (11-5, 3-3).

Hillcrest 77, Evergreen Park 55: Taylor Adway chalked up 16 points and George McDaniel scored 15 to pace host Hillcrest (9-6, 5-1). Allen Jones and DeAngelo Isby chipped in 14 points each for the Hawks in the South Suburban crossover. Tony Weathersby had a team-best 12 points for Evergreen Park (3-8, 0-5).

Lincoln-Way East 71, Andrew 57: Jake Attar racked up 23 points for host Lincoln-Way East (4-10) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Luke Hook posted 15 points and six rebounds for Andrew (3-9).

Joliet Catholic 43, Manteno 42: Keegan Tyrell’s three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining made the difference for visiting Joliet Catholic (7-11). Drake Fellows led the Hilltoppers with 14 points.

T.F. South 55, Shepard 35: Donald Stone (14 points, 5 rebounds) and Ka’Ton Mays (11 points, 3 steals) led host T.F. South (8-9, 5-1) in the South Suburban crossover.

Bremen 44, Oak Lawn 29: Deon Jackson scored 15 points and dished out eight assists for host Bremen (5-9, 1-4) in the South Suburban crossover.

Marist 50, St. Laurence 30: Kevin Lerma had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lift host Marist (13-3). Brian Holland chipped in 11 points for the RedHawks. St. Laurence fell to 2-12.

Rich East 69, Aurora Central Catholic 53: Quenton Moore piled up 29 points for visiting Rich East 8-3).

Illinois Lutheran 70, Donovan 56: Collin Borns garnered 22 points and Mack Newson scored 20 to vault host Illinois Lutheran (6-2, 3-1) in the River Valley.

Mount Carmel 69, Leo 58: David Nichols had 20 points and four assists to direct host Mount Carmel (12-6, 4-2) in the Catholic League crossover.

T.F. North 61, Argo 49: Sadiq Salisu, Jalon Kyes and Christian Johnson netted 12 points apiece for host T.F. North (5-7, 3-2) in the South Suburban crossover. Tyler Mitchell, of Argo (4-10, 1-5), was the top scorer with 32 points.

Lockport 45, Bloom 42: Grover Anderson netted 18 points and John Campbell scored 15 to steer visiting Lockport (8-6). Bloom fell to 9-6.

Beecher 69, Momence 54: Marshall Landis had 18 points and four steals to pace visiting Beecher (4-10). Anthony Olszewski added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Bobcats.

Girls Basketball

Ag. Science 54, TEAM Englewood 32: Tatyana McCool, April Baar and Brittany Nash scored 10 points apiece for visiting Ag. Science (9-12, 5-6) in the Public League Chicago South.

Oak Lawn 65, Bremen 16: Brianna Markusic poured in 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lift host Oak Lawn (15-1, 5-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Jannah Mahmoud tacked on 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Spartans.

Lincoln-Way East 37, Lockport 27: Jill Connolly scored 11 points and Kara Krolicki netted nine to spark visiting Lincoln-Way East (12-3, 4-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Laurel Kucharski paced Lockport (7-6, 2-3) with nine points.

Lincoln-Way North 69, Thornton 45: Kayla Kieklak’s 16 points set the tone for visiting Lincoln-Way North (14-4, 4-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Sam Pietruszynski (11 points, 6 assists) also starred for the Phoenix, which scored the first 15 points of the game.

Stagg 46, Sandburg 28: Casey McMahon scored 18 points — all on three-pointers — to carry visiting Stagg (7-9, 1-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Sandburg dropped to 12-7, 3-2.

Oak Forest 57, Eisenhower 51: Maddie Baxa had 10 points and Earleesha Stoxstell scored nine to lead visiting Oak Forest (8-8, 5-1) in the South Suburban crossover.

U-High 35, Morgan Park Academy 23: Gabby Ogbevire’s 14 points were the most for visiting Morgan Park Academy (5-8, 0-2) in the Independent School League.

Lincoln-Way Central 86, Thornridge 43: Candace Finnin posted 15 points for host Lincoln-Way Central (8-8, 3-2). Sami Wisniewski added 14 points and Kelsie Foster scored 12 for the Knights in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Thornridge is 3-13, 1-4.

Lemont 51, Richards 48: Shannon O’Donnell had 11 points to pace visiting Lemont (10-8, 4-2) in the South Suburban crossover. The Indians also received 10 points apiece from Kim Jerantowski, Maddy Vermejan and Ali Kramer. Sydni Tears scored 16 points for Richards (6-9, 1-5) and Carly Stazak added 12.

Hillcrest 60, Evergreen Park 43: Shayla Joiner finished with 15 points and Aliah Acker tacked on 14 to aid visiting Hillcrest (12-4, 6-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Zoe Monks, of Evergreen Park (11-9, 2-4), led all scorers with 22 points.

Rich South 62, Peotone 43: Tierra Webb tossed in 19 points (6 rebounds, 4 steals) to propel visiting Rich South (11-7). Dasia Evans aided the cause for the Stars with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Seton 54, Mount Assisi 40: Danielle Bailey had 15 points and her sister, Ebony, netted 14 to show the way for host Seton (8-6, 3-0) in the GCAC White.

T.F. South 63, Shepard 39: Ren’Cia Rolling’s 13 points boosted visiting T.F. South (14-2, 6-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Heather Banis had 11 points to pace Shepard (4-14, 1-5).

De La Salle 50, Gordon Tech 43: Alesia Stewart dropped in 18 points to lead visiting De La Salle (10-5, 4-0) in the GCAC White.

Chicago Christian 59, Aurora Christian 51: Kaycee Pittman (21 points) and Anna Persenaire (20) were the standouts for visiting Chicago Christian (5-11, 2-4) in the Suburban Christian Gold.

Andrew 51, Lincoln-Way West 48: Michelle Borgen delivered 19 points and Molly Franson (6 assists) added 17 to guide visiting Andrew (7-8, 2-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Lincoln-Way West dropped to 10-6, 2-3.

Reavis 50, Tinley Park 39: Natalie Dudek garnered 20 points to spur host Reavis (10-8, 3-3) in the South Suburban crossover.

T.F. North 52, Argo 42: Tyra Johnson scored 22 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to ignite visiting T.F. North (6-7) in the South Suburban crossover. Sharnita Breeze led Argo (6-9, 1-5) with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Beecher 51, Manteno 34: Danielle Snuckel (14 points) and Taylor Johnson (11) were the leading scorers for host Beecher (13-5).

Morgan Park 67, Harlan 33: Tammy Russell’s 19 points and 16 rebounds powered visiting Morgan Park (12-2, 9-0). Shami Goodman tacked on 17 points, five rebounds and four steals for the Mustangs in the Windy City South.

Joliet Catholic 62, Bishop McNamara 43: Jasmine Lumpkin scored 24 points - surpassing the 1,000 mark for her career - to catapult visiting Joliet Catholic (16-0,5-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Lumpkin also provided eight steals and five rebounds, while teammate Nicole Ekhomu finished with 14 points and seven assists.

Girls Bowling

Oak Forest 1,399, Shepard 1,381: Shepard’s Miranda Lindgren (173 game) led all competitors with a 313 series at Oak Forest Bowl. Lainey Larsen contributed a 174 game to pace Oak Forest in the South Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way West 1,738, Bolingbrook 1,682: Jessie Schram posted a 244 game and 447 series to guide Lincoln-Way West in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Katelyn Radovich added a pair of 191 games for the Warriors at Laraway Lanes.

Hillcrest 1,557, T.F. North 1,495: Denishya Waller, of Hillcrest, finished atop the leaderboard with a 214 game and 370 series in the South Suburban Blue meet at Castaways Bowl.

Andrew 1,725, Stagg 1,272: Nikki Diorio notched a 211 game and 363 series to boost Andrew in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Orland Bowl.

Evergreen Park 1,655, Argo, 1,300: Evergreen Park’s Elan Page recorded the high game (215) and series (389) in the South Suburban Red dual at AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons.

T.F. South 1,778, Bremen 1,403: Madelin Tiltges, of T.F. South, topped the field with a 240 game and 425 series at Oak Forest Bowl. Gabi Grutzius was tops for Bremen with a 177 game and 336 series in the South Suburban Blue.

Tinley Park 1,835, Oak Lawn 1,325: Mallory Fischer had a 240 game and 423 series to propel Tinley Park in the South Suburban crossover at Centennial Lanes.

Lockport 1,908, Lincoln-Way East 1,494: Lockport’s Danielle Mensik put up a 237 game and 428 series in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Orland Bowl. Nicole Troha also contributed for the Porters, garnering a 220 game and 427 series. Jackie Mlinarcik (221 game) provided a 390 series for Lincoln-Way East.

Wrestling

De La Salle triangular: Johnny Gahagan (138 pounds) notched two pins in leading St. Laurence past Catholic League foes De La Salle 54-26 and Loyola 45-31. In the other dual, Loyola topped De La Salle 39-33.

Boys Swimming

Shepard 112, Lemont 71: Zach Sierzega won the 50-yard freestyle (24.08 seconds) and 100 freestyle (54.52) to aid host Shepard. Sanders Yu added victories in the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 6.25 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:13.83) for the Astros in the South Suburban crossover.

Girls Gymnastics

Naperville Central 135.050, Lincoln-Way co-op 131.000: Jalyn Hobbs placed second on the floor exercise (8.750) and uneven parallel bars (8.100) in starring for host Lincoln-Way co-op.

Men’s Volleyball

Clarke 25-25-25, St. Xavier 18-16-22: Justin Cousin had 15 kills to lead host St. Xavier (0-2).
