Sandburg 59, Stagg 46: Niko Kogionis racked up 22 points and Niko Cahue netted 19 to steer Sandburg (5-9, 2-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue game at the United Center. Max Strus had a team-high 16 points for Stagg (12-5, 2-3).
De La Salle 63, Lincoln Park 49: Martez Cameron and Karl Harris notched 18 and 16 points, respectively, for host De La Salle (7-8).
Chicago Christian 42, Guerin 37: Blaine Wright’s 12 points ignited visiting Chicago Christian (7-9, 1-4) in the Suburban Christian Gold.

Glenbard East 60, Andrew 54: Luke Hook scored 14 points to lead Andrew (3-11). Gino Karopulos added 13 points for the Thunderbolts and Joey Krutilla netted 12.

Marian Catholic 67, Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar 60: Tyler Ulis’ 30 points lifted Marian Catholic (14-1) in Kettering, Ohio.
Lake Zurich MLK Classic
Lincoln-Way Central 51, Harlem 49: Brad Bass’s three-pointer as time expired won it for Lincoln-Way Central (8-5). Bass finished with a team-high 20 points for the Knights and Mitch Kwasigroch scored 15.
Niles North 43, Lincoln-Way Central 40: Bass finished with 18 points and Kevin Mampe had 12 for Lincoln-Way Central in its first game of the day.

Evergreen Park 61, Kankakee 56: Issac Matthews racked up 24 points to pave the way for Evergreen Park (6-8).
Evergreen Park 50, Bulls Prep 29: Matthews’ 11 points ignited Evergreen Park in the early session.

Regina 35, Mother McAuley 33: Molly O’Malley put in a team-high 15 points for visiting Mother McAuley (14-6, 3-1) in the GCAC Red.
Providence 62, Plainfield Central 26: Alysaa Jurges chalked up 26 points to lead visiting Providence (14-8).
Morgan Park 67, Latin 51: Shami Goodman had 22 points and five assists to lift visiting Morgan Park (14-2). Tammy Russell chipped in 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Mustangs.
Marian Catholic 68, Marist 48: Ashton Millender netted 20 points to vault host Marian Catholic (14-4, 3-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Teniya Page added 15 points, seven assists and three steals for the Spartans. Madison Naujokas led Marist (9-9, 1-3) with 19 points.
T.F. South 58, Joliet Central 47: Ren’Cia Rolling tossed in 18 points and Ninah Bertrand scored 17 to key visiting T.F. South (15-3). Kameron Dickens chipped in 13 points for the Rebels.
St. Louis St. Joseph 69, Bloom 65: Danielle King (28 points, 9 assists) and Ariana Dampier (19 points, 11 rebounds) were the standouts for visiting Bloom (7-12).
Young MLK Dream Classic
Joliet Catholic 50, Davie (Fla.) Nova 43: Jasmine Lumpkin had 23 points and 10 rebounds to pace Joliet Catholic (18-0).
Brooks Regional: Morgan Park (6,152) won the title at Bluebird Lanes behind the strength of Harold Barbee (1,295), Kendrick Wilson (1,251), Bryon Lawson (1,239) and Duane Campbell (1,233). Runner-up Tinley Park (5,971) was led by Keaton Krueger (1,344), along with Nick Shupryt (1,258) and Mike Bennett (1,192). Taveon Roberson (1,305) was the standout for third-place T.F. South (5,944), which also grabbed a spot in the sectional round. Andrew Johnson (1,284), Justin Abston (1,198) and Kalin James (1,148) aided the attack for the Rebels.
Brother Rice Regional: Medalist Jon Strache (1,467) guided Richards (6,232) to the team title at Arena Lanes. Oak Lawn (6,225), Brother Rice (5,965) and St. Rita (5,761) also earned sectional berths. Steven Grant (1,263) and Mike Pierce (1,193) were among the other standouts for the champion Bulldogs. Ryan Kirby (1,343) was tops for Oak Lawn, which also received contributions from Cody Bulow (1,277), Dan McGrath (1,221), Chris Kooyman (1,214) and Matt VanderGriend (1,170). Brother Rice was led by the foursome of Anthony Butler (1,262), Nick Jorge (1,213), Nick Smith (1,204) and Terrance Evans (1,152). Tyler Johnson (1,258) powered St. Rita. Ray Tenorio (1,224), Brian Fitzgerald (1,152) and Carlos Tenorio (1,068) also starred for the Mustangs.
Hinsdale South Regional: Argo (5,797) qualified for the sectional after finishing third behind Lyons (6,269) and St. Patrick (6,146) at Willowbrook Lanes in Darien. The Argonauts were led by Gustavo Calvillo, who posted a 1,204 series. Manuel Delgado (1,198), Michael Orlos (1,162), Antonio Garcia (1,125) and Zacharie Crisostomo (1,108) also contributed for Argo.
Lindblom Regional: Mount Carmel (5,742) won its firsts regional ever thanks in part to individual winner Christian Whitaker (1,363) at Bluebird Lanes. Mike Stepanovic (1,173) and E.J. Camacho (1,144) aided the cause for the Caravan. Orlando Sanmiguel (1,213), Jasson Barrios (1,182) and Matt Wolfe (1,176) were at the forefront for runner-up Reavis (5,665). St. Laurence (5,335) took third as Manny Sanchez (1,268), Tyler Balandes (1,086) and Anthony Malec (1,064) led the way for the Vikings. South Shore International (4,949) was the final team to advance to the sectional.
St. Ignatius Regional: De La Salle teammates Dante Gutierrez (1,083), Joe Guerrero (1,032) and Ryan Miller (922) qualified for the sectional on an individual basis. As a team, the Meteors (4,809) finished fifth in the meet won by Young
(5,607) at Cicero’s Town Hall Bowl. The Dolphins also produced the top competitor in Livio Bolzon (1,362).
Batavia Invitational: Jim Brennan (145 pounds) was runner-up in pacing Lemont (59 points) to 11th place in the 18-team meet. Argo (36) finished 15th in the competition won by McHenry (182).
Lisle Invitational: Braden Lancaster won the title at 152 pounds in leading Joliet Catholic (99) to a fifth-place finish in the 10-team won by Lisle (174.5). Cameron Haney (145) and Anthony McInerney (195) added second-place showings for the Hilltoppers. Will Jones (120), Josh Harvey (126) and Elliot Wilson (160) were second in their respective weight classes in helping Evergreen Park (74) place seventh.
Geneseo Invitational: Bryce Gorman won the championship at 170 pounds as Lincoln-Way Central (188.5) took third in the 21-team tournament won by Bettendorf, Iowa (231.5). Joey Nelson (132) and Bryan Ditchman (285) added second-place finishes for the Knights, who also produced a third-place winner in Vinnie Piunti (106). Stagg (70) finished 12th, Providence (35) was 16th and Marian Catholic (21) 20th.
Mahomet-Seymour Invitational: Johnny Gahagan (138) placed atop his division in guiding St. Laurence (115) to fifth place out of 21 teams. Brandon Ramos (106) and Frank Tomaskovic Jr. (285) each took third for the Vikings. Andrew (93) was 10th in the event won by Yorkville (168).
Normal U-High Invitational: Championships from Billy Fett (170) and Tyler Hill (220) helped Lincoln-Way North (124) finish fifth in the 16-team invitational won by Peoria Central (170). Rich East (123) was sixth, the Rockets producing the 106-pound winner in Kevin Radcliff. Rich South’s John Kriha captured the crown at 152 pounds.
Reed-Custer Invitational: Brent Ochoa (113), Ryan Foster (152) and Josh Jones (285) placed first as Bremen (138.5) came in fourth out of 16 squads. Tinley Park (82) was ninth, the Titans led by 132-pound winner David McDonald. PORTA (164) edged runner-up Wilmington (160) for top team honors.
Prairie State 68, McHenry 66: Adrian Jeffries provided 21 points and nine rebounds to boost host Prairie State (4-13, 1-2) in the Skyway Athletic Conference. Rayshaun Bruce added 14 points, and six rebounds for the Pioneers.
Lewis 86, Illinois-Springfield 73: Julian Lewis (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Jeff Jarosz (16 points, 5 assists) boosted visiting Lewis (13-1, 5-1) in the Great Lakes Valley. Nick Valla (5 assists) and David Niggins tacked on 10 points apiece for the Flyers.
St. Xavier 68, Olivet Nazarene 67: Brad Karp’s free throw with 6.5 seconds remaining made the difference for visiting St. Xavier (18-2, 7-1) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Jack Krieger totaled a career-high 31 points to lead the Cougars, who also received 15 points from Karp and 11 from Michael Simpson.
Joliet Junior College 84, Milwaukee Tech 68: Deiondre Cunningham registered 18 points and seven rebounds to lead host Joliet Junior College (14-6, 4-0) in Region IV. Zoran Arsenovic (7 rebounds) and Leon Gray added 15 points apiece for the Wolves.
Trinity Christian 85, St. Francis 83 (OT): Jake VanDenBerg (8 points) scored on a putback with less than two seconds remaining to spark visiting Trinity Christian (5-15, 1-8) in the CCAC. Jared Jones (7 rebounds) led the Trolls with 23 points, Joe Hehir scored 21 and Ezekiel Odonkor (9 rebounds) had 12. Edvinas Presniakovas posted 18 points and six rebounds for St. Francis (7-11, 4-4). Andrew Lerg tacked on 16 points for the Saints and Chris Miller netted 12.
Lewis 25-23-27-25, Erskine 15-25-25-21: Scott Fifer dished out 43 assists and Will McCall drilled 13 kills to show the way for host Lewis (4-2).
Lewis 80, Illinois-Springfield 68: Mariyah Brawner-Henley scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to pace visiting Lewis (12-2, 6-0) in the GLVC. Jamie Johnson added 14 points and five assists for the Flyers, who extended their winning streak to nine.
St. Xavier 117, Olivet Nazarene 80: Morgan Stuut (11 assists) set a school record by scoring 40 points and tied a school mark with 23 rebounds in leading visiting St. Xavier (17-3, 7-1) in the CCAC. In the process, Stuut became the Cougars’ all-time leader in rebounds (933), breaking the mark previously held by Erin Hannemann (932), who starred for St. Xavier from 2006-10. Suzie Broski also starred for the Cougars, contributing a career-best 30 points.
St. Francis 80, Trinity Christian 51: Katie Gonnering’s 18 points and 12 rebounds were instrumental for host St. Francis (4-16, 2-5) in the CCAC. Cydney Weisflog added 13 points for the Saints and Angelica Osusky had 12. Caitlin Cody paced Trinity Christian (6-14, 2-7) with 14 points and nine rebounds.
