Boys Basketball

Lincoln-Way East 70, Joliet West 67: Tommy DiNaso’s 16 points led a balanced attack for visiting Lincoln-Way East (5-11, 1-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Josh Jones netted 15 points for the Griffins, Clint Nooner had 13 and Jackson Bax 12.

T.F. South 58, Bremen 50: Ronald Ryan notched 14 points and Ka-Ton Mayes added 10 to pace host T.F. South (9-10, 6-2) in the South Suburban Red. Deon Jackson, of Bremen (6-11, 2-6), led all scorers with 23 points.

Girls Basketball

Morgan Park Academy 47, Lycee Francais 16: Gabby Ogbevire had 15 points to lead visiting Morgan Park Academy (8-8).

Ag. Science 52, Carver 8: Makeda Williams, April Baar, LaTrece Roberts and Brittany Nash netted 10 points apiece for host Ag. Science (10-13, 6-8) in the Public League Chicago South.

Oak Lawn 74, Richards 40: LaTondra Brooks (8 steals) had 21 points and Jannah Mahmoud (9 rebounds) scored 14 to lead visiting Oak Lawn (18-1, 8-1) in the South Suburban Red. Brooke Annerino (13 points) and Brianna Markusic (10 points, 12 rebounds) also starred for the Spartans. Sydni Tears scored a team-high 15 points for Richards (7-11, 2-7).

Hillcrest 60, Tinley Park 37: Shayla Joyner poured in 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to key visiting Hillcrest (15-4, 8-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Aliah Acker tacked on 14 points for the Hawks. Tinley Park fell to 11-12, 5-4.

Lincoln-Way West 57, Thornridge 45: Danielle Morgan netted 25 points and Stephanie McDonald added 18 for visiting Lincoln-Way West (12-7, 4-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Thornridge dropped to 3-16, 1-7.

Lincoln-Way North 36, Andrew 35 (OT): Lanie Hicks tossed in 14 points, including the game-clinching free throw, for visiting Lincoln-Way North (17-4, 7-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Molly Franson’s 14 points were the most for Andrew (10-9, 4-3).

Lockport 51, Joliet West 34: Tia Parrinello finished with 14 points and Kianna Campbell added 13 to spur host Lockport (8-9, 3-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Homewood-Flossmoor 68, Stagg 41: Amarah Coleman chalked up 16 points and Nadia Green added 10 to lift host Homewood-Flossmoor (15-2, 8-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Casey McMahon had 13 points to pace Stagg (9-10, 3-5).

T.F. South 62, Lemont 43: Ren’Cia Rolling and Ninah Bertrand posted 20 points each for visiting T.F. South (17-3, 8-1) in the South Suburban Blue. Lemont dropped to 11-10, 5-4.

Rich South 53, Rich Central 46: Tierney Lockett (18 points, 5 assists) and Dasia Evans (12 points, 10 rebounds) set the tone for host Rich South (13-7, 4-2) in the Southland. Cassandra Burres had 17 points to lead Rich Central (15-6, 5-2).

Lincoln-Way Central 80, Bradley 69: Kelsie Foster racked up 19 points and Candace Finnin netted 18 for host Lincoln-Way Central (10-9, 5-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. The Knights also received 13 points from Sami Wisniewski and 12 from Madeline Bednarz.

Crete-Monee 70, Kankakee 17: Marsha Howard contributed 18 points and seven rebounds to lead host Crete-Monee (14-5, 7-0) in the Southland. Desiree Jackson chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors.

Reavis 50, Shepard 37: Natalie Dudek had 15 points and Paulina Gal scored 11 for visiting Reavis (13-8, 6-3) in the South Suburban Red. Myrissha Mitchell finished with 10 points for Shepard (5-16, 2-6).

Bloom 88, Rich East 85 (2 OTs): Danielle King had 28 points, eight assists and eight steals for host Bloom (9-12, 3-3) in the Southland. Ariana Dampier (24 points, 13 rebounds) and Jailyn Lumpkin (12 points, 13 assists) were the other standouts for the Blazing Trojans. Ashley Dennis garnered 30 points and eight rebounds for Rich East (8-10, 1-5).

Beecher 59, Illinois Lutheran 30: Danielle Snuckel’s 12 points helped visiting Beecher (16-5, 9-0) prevail in the River Valley. Caroline Keuther led Illinois Lutheran (6-10, 3-4) with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Seton 50, De La Salle 35: Ebony Bailey netted 25 points to lead host De La Salle (11-6, 5-0) in the GCAC White.

Mount Assisi 55, St. Francis de Sales 27: Marykate Wetzel posted 10 points and Kathleen Murphy had nine to propel visiting Mount Assisi (10-13, 4-3) in the GCAC White.

Girls Bowling

Andrew 1,857, Lincoln-Way Central 1,403: Andrew’s Nikki Diorio led all competitors with a 211 game and 412 series in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual. Jamie Sexauer paced Lincoln-Way Central with a 334 series at Laraway Lanes.

T.F. South 1,689, Oak Lawn 1,330: Kayla Garcia rolled a 198 game and 368 series to lift T.F. South in the South Suburban crossover at Lan-Oak Lanes.

Lincoln-Way West 2,042, Lincoln-Way North 1,597: Amanda Reeder (253 game) recorded a school-record 485 series for Lincoln-Way West in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Tinley Park Bowl. Jessie Schram added a 244 game and 437 series for the Warriors, whose team score also was the best in program history.

Tinley Park 1,604, Oak Forest 1,267: Mallory Fischer, of Tinley Park, paced the field with a 229 game and 417 series in the South Suburban Blue meet at Centennial Lanes.

Lockport 2,114, Sandburg 1,597: Ashley Hostert’s 277 game and Nicole Troha’s 467 series boosted Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Strike N Spare II.

Evergreen Park 1,865, Shepard 1,316: Sarah Klawitter registered a pair of 235 games to spur Evergreen Park in the South Suburban Red. Elan Page tacked on a 221 game and 436 series for the Mustangs at Arena Lanes.

Boys Swimming

Lincoln-Way East 131, Joliet Central co-op 45: Victories by Andy Grever in the 100-yard butterfly (58.93 seconds) and Keegan Murphy in the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 9.14 seconds) propelled host Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Tinley Park 117, Shepard 69: Kevin Griffin prevailed in the 200 free (2:01.78) and 500 free (5:28.95) to power visiting Tinley Park in the South Suburban crossover. Sanders Yu, of Shepard, was tops in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.09) and 200 individual medley (2:13.01).

Thornton Fractional co-op 67, Bremen 25: James Gerritsen won the 100 fly (1:09.77) and 200 freestyle (2:14.92) to spark host Thornton Fractional co-op in the South Suburban Blue. Gerritsen also helped the Rebels prevail in the 200 free relay (1:40.29) and 200 medley relay (1:53.52). Bremen’s Josh Lira posted the top time in the 200 individual medley (2:30.90).

Lincoln-Way Central 125, Bradley 45: Jon Ramos was first in the 200 free (1:55.27) and 500 free (5:19.94) for host Lincoln-Way Central in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Andrew 100, Lincoln-Way North 76: Eric Tamulonis won the 100 breaststroke (1:06.35) and 200 individual medley (2:15.20) to guide visiting Andrew in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Lincoln-Way North’s Evan Surma led the field in the 100 backstroke (55.59).

Men’s Basketball

Prairie State 60, Waubonsee 53: Rodney Smith posted 26 points and seven rebounds to lead host Prairie State (6-14, 3-2) in the Skyway Athletic Conference.

Women’s Basketball

Waubonsee 55, Prairie State 48: Nijea Dixon compiled 16 points and seven rebounds to aid host Prairie State (10-11, 3-2) in the Skyway Athletic Conference. Faith Foulks added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers.

Lewis 95, Southern Indiana 85: Jamie Johnson was 5-of-8 on three-pointers en route to a 27-point night for host Lewis (13-3, 7-1) in the Great Lakes Valley. Kristin Itschner added 18 points for the Flyers, who also received 16 points and 11 rebounds from Mariyah Brawner-Henley.
