Boys Basketball

Eisenhower 66, Seton 64: Calviontae Washington (15 points) sank a three-pointer with five seconds remaining to lift host Eisenhower (7-14). Romale Cook and Vinny Curta added 12 points apiece for the Cardinals. Christopher Seaton had 27 points for Seton.

Illinois Lutheran 75, Tri-Point 62: Collin Borns racked up 24 points and Mack Newson scored 22 for host Illinois Lutheran (9-3, 5-2) in the River Valley.

Oak Lawn 43, Chicago Christian 42: David Stacy had 13 points and Joe Cosenza added 10 for host Oak Lawn (5-11). Chicago Christian is 7-11.

Leyden 70, Argo 44: Bryant Smith and Victor Gordon scored 11 points apiece for visiting Argo (6-12).

Girls Basketball

Crete-Monee 44, Rich Central 34: Marsha Howard had a team-best 14 points for visiting Crete-Monee (15-5, 8-0) in the Southland. Vivian Imarenzor netted 13 points to lead Rich Central (15-7, 5-3).

Morgan Park Academy 47, Elgin Academy 16: Brittney McKnight scored 16 points to lead host Morgan Park Academy (10-8, 2-2) in the Independent School League.

Beecher 73, Donovan 8: Taylor Johnson (10 rebounds, 5 assists) and Sam Pilbeam (8 rebounds, 7 assists) netted 16 points apiece to spark host Beecher (17-5, 10-0) in the River Valley. Eve Stolzenbach tacked on 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bobcats.

Sandburg 47, Joliet Central 28: Sam Youngwirth scored 12 points and Julia Ruzevich added 10 to ignite visiting Sandburg (13-10, 4-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Andrew 61, Thornton 39: Michelle Borgen (24 points) and Molly Franson (20) were the primary scorers for visiting Andrew (11-9, 5-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Mitzi Terry had 10 points to lead Thornton.

Seton 47, Rich East 46: Ebony Bailey’s 12 points aided visiting Seton (13-6). Ashley Dennis led Rich East (9-13) with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Illiana Christian 60, Ridgewood 37: Gabby Kreykes totaled 21 points, nine assists, six steals and five rebounds to pave the way for host Illiana Christian (8-14, 3-6) in the Metro Suburban. Janna Vree and Bria Cole chipped in 10 points each for the Vikings.

Lincoln-Way Central 94, Thornwood 56: Kelsie Foster’s 18 points led host Lincoln-Way Central (11-9, 6-3). Madeline Bednarz added 13 points for the Knights and Sami Wisniewski had 11 in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Girls Bowling

Tinley Park 1,769, Argo 1,400: Tinley Park’s Mallory Fischer led all bowlers with a 217 game and 422 series in the South Suburban crossover at AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons.

Wrestling

Lincoln-Way East 69, Rich East 5: Andrew Butz (113 pounds), Brian Burns (152) and Jake Hill (170) recorded pins to propel visiting Lincoln-Way East (18-8). Sean Sibley (120) added a technical fall for the Griffins.

Men’s Basketball

St. Xavier 57, Holy Cross 50: Michael Simpson scored 16 points and Jack Krieger had 14 as visiting St. Xavier (21-2, 11-1) tied a school record with its 17th straight win. Josh Mawhorr tacked on 12 points for the Cougars in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

St. Francis 70, Robert Morris 67: Chris Miller had 17 points and Logan Timmons (8 rebounds) scored 11 to carry host St. Francis (10-12, 7-5) in the CCAC.

Joliet Junior College 77, DuPage 69: Deiondre Cunningham’s 22 points boosted visiting Joliet Junior College (16-7, 6-1) in Region IV.

Men’s Volleyball

St. Ambrose 25-25-25, St. Xavier 17-15-15: Jacob Siska had 26 assists and Sean Berry added 10 kills to lead host St. Xavier (0-6).

Women’s Basketball

St. Xavier 79, Holy Cross 76: Morgan Stuut poured in 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to power visiting St. Xavier (20-3, 10-1) to its 15th consecutive victory. Caitlin McMahon added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars in the CCAC.

Robert Morris 75, St. Francis 69: Leah Avery totaled 22 points and eight rebounds to pace host St. Francis (6-18, 4-7) in the CCAC. Katie Gonnering tacked on 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Saints.
