Girls Basketball

Bolingbrook 56, Stagg 43: Casey McMahon scored 18 points and Mia DiGiacomo added 12 to lead host Stagg (9-11, 3-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Richards 47, Mount Assisi 46: Carly Stazak scored 15 points and Sydni Tears netted 14 to lift host Richards (8-11). Jess Moriarty finished with 11 points for Mount Assisi (10-14) and Kathleen Murphy had nine.

Lincoln-Way East 66, Joliet Central 31: Kara Krolicki made seven three-pointers and totaled 23 points to power host Lincoln-Way East (16-4, 7-2). Anna Rose added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Griffins in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Hillcrest 91, Bremen 25: Kyla Cornelius (17 points) and Nadika Jackson (16) were the primary scorers for host Hillcrest (16-5, 9-0) in the South Suburban Blue.

Francis Parker 33, Morgan Park Academy 25: Gabby Ogbevire provided a team-best 12 points for visiting Morgan Park Academy (10-9, 2-3) in the Independent School League.

T.F. North 49, Tinley Park 45: Chanel Howard registered 21 points for visiting T.F. North (7-10, 4-6) in the South Suburban Blue. Tyra Johnson chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Meteors. Caitlin Sudduth’s 16 points led Tinley Park (11-13, 5-5).

Lincoln-Way West 69, Lincoln-Way Central 65: Danielle Morgan rang up 31 points and 16 rebounds to steer host Lincoln-Way West (13-7, 5-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Lincoln-Way Central fell to 11-10, 6-4.

Bradley 45, Lincoln-Way North 44: Sam Pietruszynski tossed in 12 points for host Lincoln-Way North (17-5, 7-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Evergreen Park 64, Eisenhower 55: Zoe Monks posted 24 points and Nicole Larkin netted 19 to aid host Evergreen Park (12-11, 3-6) in the South Suburban Red.

Rich Central 52, T.F. South 48: Tayana Wilson racked up 18 points to pace Rich Central (16-7) in Lansing. Cassandra Burres added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Olympians. Ninah Bertrand had 22 points for T.F. South (17-4).

Seton 85, Gary Roosevelt 26: Ebony Bailey and Bria Gamble scored 15 points each for Seton (14-6). Kyra Ford tacked on 12 points for the Sting.

Rich South 70, Bloom 61: Tierney Lockett’s 20 points were the most for host Rich South (14-7, 5-2) in the Southland. Dasia Evans (9 rebounds) and Tierra Webb added 16 points apiece for the Stars. Danielle King (19 points) and Ariana Dampier (17 points, 12 rebounds) led Bloom (9-13, 3-4).

Reavis 46, Argo 38: Ashley Galason posted 15 points to vault Reavis (14-8, 7-3) in the South Suburban Red. Katelyn LoRusso and Natalie Dudek added 10 points each for the visiting Rams. Sharnita Breeze netted 12 points for Argo (7-13, 2-8) and Sabrina Williams had 10.

Rosary 45, Chicago Christian 37: Kiersten Merrick, Anna Persenaire and Abbie Bulthuis had eight points apiece for visiting Chicago Christian (6-13) in the Suburban Christian crossover.

Riverside-Brookfield 68, Illiana Christian 48: Gabby Kreykes had a team-high 12 points for host Illiana Christian (8-15, 3-7) in the Metro Suburban.

Public League Playoffs

Morgan Park 77, Hope 50: Tammy Russell poured in 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead host Morgan Park (16-3).

Girls Bowling

Bremen 1,603, Hillcrest 1,508: Bremen’s Monica Krumrie led all individuals with a 204 game and 392 series in the South Suburban Blue dual at Brunswick Zone XL in Homewood.

T.F. South 1,843, Oak Forest 1,410: Kayla Garcia posted a 226 game and 417 series to guide T.F. South at Lan-Oak Lanes. Amber Montejano (216 game) added a 405 series for the Rebels in the South Suburban Blue. Erica Bergstrom paced Oak Forest with a 312 series.

T.F. North 1,664, Oak Lawn 1,478: Melissa Garcia, of T.F. North, paced the field with a 190 game and 367 series in the South Suburban crossover. Shannon McGuire’s 326 series was tops for Oak Lawn at Palos Lanes.

Evergreen Park 1,723, Eisenhower 1,608: Sarah Klawittter had a 226 game and 422 series to boost Evergreen Park at Arena Lanes. Elan Boynes-Page aided the cause for the Mustangs with a 399 series in the South Suburban Red. Jasmine Hampton (372 series) was the leading bowler for Eisenhower.

Boys Swimming

Lockport 106, Homewood-Flossmoor 77: Wins by Steven Howell in the 100-yard freestyle (52.37 seconds) and Josh Lantow in the 100 butterfly (1 minute, 2.76 seconds) aided visiting Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Eric Johnson tacked on a victory in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.88) for the Porters in addition to helping the team win the 200 free relay (1:37.52) and 200 medley relay (1:49.35). Homewood-Flossmoor’s Haden Santefort prevailed in the 200 free (1:53.09) and 500 free (5:05.37). The Vikings also received first-place finishes from Jakobi McClellan in the 50 free (26.73) and 100 backstroke (57.13).

Andrew 105, Lincoln-Way Central 75: Kyle Fitzgerald posted the top times in the 100 free (49.19) and 200 free (1:47.78) to spark host Andrew in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Zack Renter added wins in the 200 individual medley (2:02.83) and 500 free (5:08.60) for the Thunderbolts. The two also were part of the winning foursomes in the 200 free relay (1:30.87) and 400 free relay (3:15.56). Lincoln-Way Central’s Ryan Sterling won the 100 back (57.13) and teammate Mike Ramos took first in the 100 fly (58.71).

Stagg 120, Lincoln-Way East 66: Lucas Smiarowski, Harlan Long, Zack Amendola and Evan Johnson set pool records in leading host Stagg to victories in the 200 medley relay (1:38.55) and 400 free relay (3:15.10) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Amendola added wins in the 100 fly (54.55) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.44), while Johnson finished ahead of the pack in the 200 free (1:55.50) and 500 free (5:19.93).

Men’s Basketball

Indianapolis 80, Lewis 66: Jeff Jarosz scored 16 points to lead visiting Lewis (15-3, 7-3) in the Great Lakes Valley. Julian Lewis (9 rebounds) added 13 points for the Flyers and Ryan Jackson had 11.

Olivet Nazarene 85, Trinity Christian 78: Jared Jones posted a team-high 24 points for visiting Trinity Christian (6-16, 2-9) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Men’s Volleyball

Lewis 25-25-25, Missouri Baptist 16-21-24: BJ Boldog dished out 15 assists and Geoff Powell drilled six kills to lead host Lewis (7-2).

Women’s Basketball

Lewis 111, Indianapolis 105 (3 OTs): Jamie Johnson (8 rebounds, 6 assists) scored 29 points and Mariyah Brawner-Henley posted 23 points and 18 rebounds to propel visiting Lewis (15-3, 9-1) in the Great Lakes Valley. Kristin Itschner tacked on 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Flyers.

Olivet Nazarene 105, Trinity Christian 77: Brooke Bambrick contributed 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead visiting Trinity Christian (6-16, 2-9) in the CCAC. Caitlin Cody (9 rebounds) and Caitlin Cody added 13 points apiece for the Trolls.
