Girls Basketball

Oak Lawn 64, Illiana Christian 20: LaTondra Brooks totaled 12 points and 13 steals to vault host Oak Lawn (22-1). Jannah Mahmoud led the Spartans with 15 points and Brianna Markusic scored 10. Gabby Kreykes had nine points for Illiana Christian (9-16).

Beecher 68, Tri-Point 34: Danielle Snuckel’s 17 points led host Beecher (19-5, 12-0) in the River Valley. Taylor Johnson added 14 points, eight rebounds and five steals for the Bobcats.

Morgan Park Academy 31, Mooseheart 10: Bhy Williams and Gabby Ogbevire netted 10 points each to propel visiting Morgan Park Academy (12-10).

Hillcrest 56, Lemont 36: Aliah Acker had 17 points and Tanzania Sherrill tacked on 11 for host Hillcrest (19-5, 11-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Maddy Vermejan finished with 15 points for Lemont (12-12, 6-6).

Richards 49, Argo 45: Sydni Tears had 27 points and Taylor Sonichsen added nine to power host Richards (10-11, 4-7) in the South Suburban Red. Amy Kinney provided a team-best 12 points for Argo (9-14, 3-9), which also received 11 points each from Sabrina Williams and Sharnita Breeze.

Joliet Catholic 81, Tinley Park 38: Jasmine Lumpkin’s game-best 28 points keyed host Joliet Catholic (22-1). Tinley Park dropped to 11-15.

Lincoln-Way Central 76, Thornridge 62: Kelsie Foster had 18 points for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (12-11, 7-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Hayley Holmes aided the cause for the Knights with eight points and 13 rebounds.

Rich Central 50, Kankakee 40: Cassandra Burres scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to set the tone for visiting Rich Central (18-7, 6-3) in the Southland.

Reavis 53, Eisenhower 44: Katelyn LoRusso netted 19 points and Ashley Galason 14 to spark host Reavis (15-9, 8-4) in the South Suburban Red.

Crete-Monee 74, Bloom 46: Marsha Howard had 20 points and eight rebounds to guide host Crete-Monee (16-6, 9-0) in the Southland. Ashley Henry (13 points, 9 rebounds) and Alexia DeBose (12 points, 7 assists) also starred for the Warriors. Ariana Dampier had 25 points and nine rebounds to lead Bloom (10-14, 4-4).

T.F. South 54, Bremen 29: Ren’Cia Rolling and Ninah Bertrand each had 13 points to steer visiting T.F. South (19-4, 10-1) in the South Suburban Blue. CeCe Keys added 12 rebounds for the Rebels.

Rich South 60, Rich East 58: Tierra Webb totaled 24 points, nine rebounds and six steals to boost visiting Rich South (15-8, 6-3) in the Southland. Dasia Evans tacked on 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Stars. Ashley Dennis, of Rich East (8-12, 1-8), led all scorers with 29 points.

Bradley 57, Thornwood 45: Breneka Walker (17 points) and Janeah Stewart (16) led host Thornwood in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Boys Basketball

St. Viator 80, Joliet Catholic 58: Harold Davis scored 18 points for visiting Joliet Catholic (7-14, 0-4) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Girls Bowling

Peotone 1,655, Lincoln-Way East 1,635: Jackie Mlinarcik posted a 227 game and 396 series for Lincoln-Way East at Orland Bowl.

Girls Indoor Track & Field

Proviso West quadrangular: Wins by Dannie Segers in the 55-meter high hurdles (9.9 seconds) and Dasia Blackmon in the 300-meter dash (44.6) helped T.F. North (57.5 points) finish second behind Grayslake Central 78.5). Proviso West (50) was third, followed by Proviso East (5).

Men’s Basketball

Lewis 73, Rockhurt 69: Ryan Jackson had 26 points and five rebounds to lead host Lewis (17-3, 9-3) in the Great Lakes Valley. Julian Lewis added 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Flyers.

Olivet Nazarene 71, St. Francis 48: Chris Miller scored nine points and Jo Jo Ballestero added eight for visiting St. Francis (11-13, 8-6) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Prairie State 89, Oakton 70: Rodney Smith (7 assists) and Adrian Jeffries each contributed 27 points and six rebounds for host Prairie State (9-15, 5-3) in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference.

Women’s Basketball

Prairie State 67, Oakton 59: Nijea Dixon had 21 points and six rebounds to spark host Prairie State (12-12, 5-3). Faith Foulks added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference.

Lewis 72, Rockhurst 37: Mariyah Brawner-Henley had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lift host Lewis (16-3, 11-1) in the GLVC. Jamie Johnson added 12 points and five assists for the Flyers, who also received 10 points and 10 rebounds from Jess Reinhart.

Olivet Nazarene 106, St. Francis 90: Katie Gonnering scored a career-high 41 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to lead visiting St. Francis (6-20, 4-9) in the CCAC. Sara Placher chipped in 11 points for the Saints.
