T.F. North 55, Bremen 49: Michelle Pruitt put in 15 points to pace host T.F. North (8-13, 5-8) in the South Suburban Blue.
Shepard 42, Argo 40: Myrissha Mitchell poured in 10 points and Courtney Dalton grabbed 19 rebounds to boost visiting Shepard (6-19, 3-9) in the South Suburban Red.
Providence 40, Carmel 39: Alyssa Jurges notched 13 points and Marybeth Galick had nine to steer host Providence (17-12, 5-4) in the East Suburban Catholic.
Hillcrest 65, T.F. South 52: Joshulyn Shepard’s 21 points and eight rebounds helped visiting Hillcrest (21-5, 13-0) capture its second consecutive South Suburban Blue championship. Tanzania Sherrill tacked on 12 points for the Hawks and Tierra Sanders (8 rebounds) scored 10. Ren’Cia Rolling totaled 19 points for T.F. South (20-5, 11-2) and Ninah Bertrand had 17.
Bloom 62, Kankakee 34: Sam Realford delivered 13 points and 10 rebounds for host Bloom in the Southland.
Bradley 68, Lincoln-Way North 40: J.T. Limon recorded a team-best 15 points for visiting Lincoln-Way North (3-17, 1-9) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
St. Francis 77, Indiana-South Bend 72: Andrew Lerg tossed in 19 points to pace a balanced attack for host St. Francis (13-13, 10-6) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Mark Peters (9 rebounds) added 16 points for the Saints, Chris Miller (6 assists) scored 14 and Edvinas Preniakovas (7 rebounds) had 13.
Trinity Christian 86, Purdue-North Central 79: Joe Hehir chalked up 20 points to lift host Trinity Christian (9-18, 5-11) in the CCAC. Jared Jones posted 16 points for the Trolls, who also received 13 points each from Cody Roher (11 rebounds) and Jake VanDenBerg (7 rebounds).
South Suburban 81, Robert Morris-Springfield 73: Antonio Levy contributed 25 points and Jalen Brown (8 rebounds) add 20 to lead visiting South Suburban (21-5).
Great Lakes Valley Championships: Bryant Jacobs earned potential bids to the NCAA Division II meet in two events as Lewis (100 points) occupied fourth place after the opening day of competition in Crawfordsville, Ind. Jacobs notched a B cut in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9 minutes, 28.58 seconds) and also helped the Flyers capture a similar designation in the 800 free relay (6:41.45), joining Derick Carlson, Victor Tarin and Aidan Brennan in setting a school record.
Indiana-South Bend 67, St. Francis 60: Katie Gonnering scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead host St. Francis (6-21, 4-10) in the CCAC. Cydney Weisflog added 13 points for the Saints and Marissa Draper had 11.
Great Lakes Valley Championships: Lewis (62) garnered potential Division II bids in three events and broke two school records en route to a fifth-place showing during the first day of competition in Crawfordsville, Ind. The Flyers set program standards and posted B cuts in the 200 medley relay (1:48,17) and 800 free relay (7:36.63). Mackenzie Kummer, Sarah Kenis, Aubrey Miller and Katie Hallenbach comprised the foursome in the former race, while the grouping in the latter event consisted of Hallenbach, Courtney Duy, Brittany Kamper and Shannon Sullivan. Duy also put up a B cut in the 200 free (1:53.86).
