Stagg 64, Oak Lawn 36: Max Strus had 26 points and Kevin White scored 21 to propel Stagg (18-7) in Palos Hills. Oak Lawn fell to 8-14.
Kankakee 59, Lincoln-Way West 43: Jon Marotta’s 14 points steered host Lincoln-Way West (12-10). Hayden Witt and Marco Pettinato added 10 points each for the Warriors.
Clifton Central 69, Beecher 48: Marshall Landis had 14 points for host Beecher (5-19).
Catholic League Tournament
Providence 61, Hales 60 (OT): Jack Brody (12 points) sank a three-pointer as time expired to lift visiting Providence (12-12) in the upper bracket consolation semifinal. Miles Boykin was the Celtics’ top scorer with 16 points.
Brother Rice 56, Seton 51: Quinn Niego had 26 points and Connor Finn scored 16 as host Brother Rice (13-12) captured a berth in the championship of the lower bracket. Chris Seaton had 18 points for Seton (6-19).
Gordon Tech 51, Leo 50: Michael Johnson had 13 points for host Gordon Tech (14-10) in the lower bracket consolation semifinal. Leo is 10-14.
St. Ignatius 56, St. Laurence 48: Matt Gurgone had 21 points for visiting St. Laurence (5-19) in the lower bracket consolation semifinal.
Class 3A Evergreen Park Regional
Bogan 72, Queen of Peace 27: Jelyn Chua had nine points for Queen of Peace (2-27) in the semifinal.
Evergreen Park 57, Lindblom 40: Megan Pfister (19 points) and Erica Carradine (14) were the leading scorers for Evergreen Park (14-14) in the semifinal.
Class 3A Rich East Regional
Hillcrest 72, Rich East 61: Nadika Jackson scored 18 points and Tanzania Sherrill added 15 to boost Hillcrest (22-5) in the semifinal. Jada Banks contributed 16 points for Rich East (11-13) and Ashley Dennis had 15.
Rich South 45, Rich Central 28: Dasia Evans finished with 12 points, eight blocked shots and seven rebounds for Rich South (17-9) in the semifinal. Tierra Webb (7 rebounds, 5 steals) and Tierney Lockett added 10 points apiece for the Stars. Cassandra Burres notched eight points for Rich Central (18-9).
Class 4A Lincoln-Way North Regional
Lincoln-Way East 74, Bloom 59: Claire McMahon had 23 points and Dana O’Grady 18 to help Lincoln-Way East (21-5) advance to the championship. Danielle King paced Bloom (14-15) with 26 points and five assists. Anika Johnson chipped in 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Blazing Trojans.
Lincoln-Way North 46, Andrew 40: Kayla Kieklak had 13 points for Lincoln-Way North (23-5) in the semifinal. Andrew closed at 17-11.
Class 4A Sandburg Regional
Marian Catholic 51, Richards 15: Ashton Millender scored 12 points to ignite Marian Catholic (23-4) in the semifinal. Teniya Page added 10 points, six assists and five steals for the Spartans. Sydni Tears had 10 points for Richards (14-12).
Sandburg 53, Crete-Monee 49: Sam Youngwirth notched 23 points and Julia Ruzevich 16 to carry Sandburg (16-13) into the title round. Marsha Howard poured in 18 points for Crete-Monee (20-7) and Lindzy Cox had 10.
Class 4A T.F. North Regional
Marist 55, T.F. South 45: Brooke Wyderski registered 13 points and Katelyn Rosner finished with 12 to lead Marist (12-15) in the semifinal. Ren’Cia Rolling and India Pierson pitched in 14 points apiece for T.F. South (20-6). In the other semifinal, T.F. North (10-13) won by forfeit over Homewood-Flossmoor, which was banned from the state playoffs for violation of IHSA bylaws.
Joliet Junior College 74, Rock Valley 65: Justin Scanlan had 21 points to key host Joliet Junior College (19-10, 9-4) in Region IV. Zoran Aresnovic added 17 points and six rebounds for the Wolves.
St. Francis 75, Holy Cross 52: Chris Miller’s 20 points led a balanced attack for visiting St. Francis (15-13, 12-6) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Jo Jo Ballestero had 16 points for the Saints, Andrew Lerg scored 13 and Mark Peters (9 rebounds) had 10.
St. Xavier 90, Roosevelt 76: Brad Karp totaled 29 points and 10 rebounds to power host St. Xavier (25-4, 15-3) in the CCAC. Jack Krieger (6 assists) tacked on 16 points for the Cougars, Michael Simpson (5 rebounds, 5 assists) netted 15 and Tony Core had 14.
St. Francis 78, Holy Cross 60: Cydney Weisflog scored a career-high 21 points and also pulled down five rebounds to lift visiting St. Francis (7-22, 5-11) in the CCAC. Alexis Brown added 19 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Saints.
St. Xavier 64, Roosevelt 56: Morgan Stuut totaled 21 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks for host St. Xavier (25-4, 15-2). Niara Harris added 12 points for the Cougars in the CCAC.
