Crete-Monee 15, Kankakee 2: Brandon Hickey starred on the mound (6-hitter, 12 strikeouts) and at the plate (2-for-4, 3 RBI) to propel visiting Crete-Monee (2-3, 1-0) in the six-inning Southland contest. Keith Bachert (2-for-3) added two runs and two RBI for the Warriors and Justin Kozinski (3-for-4) scored three times.
Providence 14, Lincoln-Way Central 5: Phil Kunsa belted a two-run homer to aid visiting Providence (7-4). Cam Calgano (3-for-5) chipped in three runs and two RBI for the Celtics, who pounded out 16 hits. Ryan Earll and Pat Michalak drilled two-run homers for Lincoln-Way Central (5-3).
Joliet Catholic 12, Andrew 1: Aaron Markley (3-for-3) and Rylan Bannon (2-for-4) each posted two runs and two RBI for visiting Joliet Catholic (8-2). Kyle Polaski surrendered two hits and struck out seven in going the route for the Hilltoppers. Brian Kelly notched an RBI single for Andrew (2-5).
De La Salle 10, St. Francis de Sales 0: Alex Padilla spun a one-hitter and fanned 10 to lead visiting De La Salle (4-1, 1-0) in the Catholic League White. Jalen Davis and James Baran hit two-run singles for the Meteors and Trevino Rodriguez scored three runs.
Lincoln-Way West 19, Joliet Central 4: Zach Speaker (2-for-4, 3 runs, 4 RBI) clubbed a three-run homer and Luke Morgan slammed a two-run shot to vault host Lincoln-Way West (6-0) in the five-inning game. Jake Robbins added three RBI for the Warriors.
Lincoln-Way North 7, Lyons 1: Two-run singles by Erik Eggert and Josh Mutter highlighted a five-run outburst in the bottom of the fourth for Lincoln-Way North (4-1). Joey Frederickson (4 innings) and Kyle Ostrowski combined to allow six hits and strike out 13 for the Phoenix.
Rich Central 11, T.F. North 1: Quentin Jones (3-for-4) had three RBI and Glenn Vlach (8 strikeouts) pitched a complete game to ignite Rich Central (3-1). Kevin Givhan (3-for-4) added two RBI for the Olympians.
Thornton 12, Rich South 11: Armani Lewis went 2-for-3 with four RBI to lead host Thornton (1-5).
Sandburg 11, Reavis 2: Ben Gresla (4-hitter, 8 strikeouts) went the route and also swatted a two-run double to pace visiting Sandburg (5-2). Mike Jentel (3-for-4, 3 RBI) and Jim Roche (3-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBI) also starred for the Eagles.
Morgan Park 15, Washington 2: Lavar Reed and Elijah McKinnis each garnered a run and two RBI for host Morgan Park (7-2-1, 2-0-1) in the five-inning contest. Darius Hill and Christian Bullock added two runs apiece for the Mustangs in the Jackie Robinson South.
Illiana Christian 6, Timothy Christian 1: Lucas Miedema pitched a complete game (2-hitter, 7 strikeouts) and also delivered a two-run single to lead visiting Illiana Christian (2-5, 1-1) in the Metro Suburban.
Homewood-Flossmoor 17, Peotone 0: Parker Coleman hit a grand slam and Bryce Gray added a three-run double to pave the way for host Homewood-Flossmoor (4-1) in the five-inning affair.
Beecher 20-11, Donovan 1-1: Bailey Schultz went 3-for-3 with two runs and four RBI in helping host Beecher (8-1, 6-0) complete the sweep in the River Valley. Brian Mayer (3-for-3, run, 3 RBI) and Paschal Gianotti (3-for-3, 3 runs, 2 RBI) were among the standouts for the Bobcats in Game 1.

Lemont 11, Mount Carmel 2: Mike Papierski hit a three-run homer and Jake Terrazas tacked on a two-run blast – both in the top of the fifth inning – to guide Lemont (7-0) at Standard Bank Stadium. Charlie Wright (2-for-3, 2 runs, 3 RBI) and Mike Wisz added two-run singles for the Indians. Ako Thomas and Josh Stowers contributed run-scoring doubles for Mount Carmel (6-2).
Tinley Park 3, Lincoln-Way North 0: Alex Laphen hit a two-run double and Megan Laib added a solo homer to power host Tinley Park (5-0). Annalisse Scott allowed three hits in pitching a complete game for the Titans. Carley Hamann went 2-for-3 to lead Lincoln-Way North (2-1).
Plainfield South 8, Joliet Catholic 0: Meghan Harrison and Ryann Querio had the only hits for host Joliet Catholic (3-3).
Lockport 4, Minooka 0: Justine Cielenski fired a three-hitter and struck out seven to pace host Lockport (4-2). Gabby Voulgaris (2-for-2, run, 2 RBI) and Sarah DeMasi notched RBI singles for the Porters and Haley Arndt tacked on a run-scoring double.
Reavis 16, T.F. North 2: Ashley Galason went 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI to vault host Reavis (5-4, 4-2) in the five-inning South Suburban crossover. Natalie Dudek (2 runs) added a homer and three RBI for the Rams.
Oak Forest 7, Homewood-Flossmoor 3: Taylor Sterkowitz (3-for-4, 3 runs) posted a homer and three RBI to show the way for visiting Oak Forest (8-2). Annie Zubek (3-for-4) and Angelia Elias (2-for-4) chipped in two RBI apiece for the Bengals. Morgan Williams and Gabby Cooke swatted homers for Homewood-Flossmoor (1-4).
Mother McAuley 8, Stagg 0: Amy Balich (2-for-4) hit a three-run homer and Alex Brown added a two-run blast to carry host Mother McAuley (4-3). Dara Sanders allowed three hits and fanned 11 in going the route for the Mighty Macs. Kayla Frain, Lexi Minet and Brianna Serritella collected hits for Stagg (0-5).

Beecher 13-16, Donovan 0-2: Chloe Schamber (7 strikeouts) tossed a one-hitter and also went 3-for-3 with two RBI to lead host Beecher (8-4, 6-0) in the opener of the River Valley doubleheader. Carson Solis (11 strikeouts) went the route in addition contributing an RBI for the Bobcats in Game 2.

Andrew 25-25, Bolingbrook 13-12: Sanil Thomas totaled eight assists, seven digs, four kills and four aces to steer host Andrew (6-6, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Richards 25-23-25, Illiana Christian 22-25-13: Dan Krasich dished out 30 assists and David Allen pounded eight kills to spark visiting Richards (11-3).
Downers Grove South 25-23-25, Sandburg 16-25-23: Paul Chmura had 12 kills and 12 digs to pace visiting Sandburg (8-4). Ian Zalewski added 27 assists for the Eagles.
Marian Catholic 6, Andrew 1: Kyle Scheffers (No. 1) and Patrick Murday (No. 2) posted singles wins for host Marian Catholic (10-2). Andrew’s Mitch Abrahams prevailed at No. 3 singles.
Illiana Christian 4, Nazareth 2: Ben Van Til and Jason Eberly posted a victory at top-seeded doubles to spark host Illiana Christian (3-0). Drew Smits and Garret Lytle added a win at No. 2 doubles for the Vikings.

Sandburg 12, Homewood-Flossmoor 8: Zach Roper’s seven goals led visiting Sandburg (7-2, 4-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Hayden Santefort and Broc Thompson put in three goals each for Homewood-Flossmoor (7-9, 2-1).
Andrew 16, Lincoln-Way West 7: Alex Gacek and Chuck Walters put in four goals apiece to direct host Andrew (11-0, 4-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way Central 12, Bradley 1: Kim Bernhard and Kristi Howe racked up hat tricks for host Lincoln-Way Central (4-6, 2-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
St. Francis 5-4, Roosevelt 0-3: Jacob Butler (6-1) tossed a one-hitter and struck out nine to lead host St. Francis (22-14, 10-2) in the opener of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader. Brandon Mendoza, Joe Ruge, Trevor Cherwin and Luke Wyss had RBI for the Saints in the seven-inning contest. Matt Scott went 2-for-4 with two RBI to pace St. Francis in the nine-inning finale.
Calumet 2-3, St. Xavier 1-7: Alec Barnhart (2-for-4) had three RBI and Ryan Pellack (2-for-2, RBI) scored three runs to help visiting St. Xavier (13-18, 8-4) gain a split in the CCAC. Dan Wetzel struck out eight in pitching a complete game for the Cougars. Bryan Villanova contributed an RBI single for St. Xavier in Game 1.
Robert Morris 7-12, Trinity Christian 6-0: Danny Britt and Peter Krygsheld finished with two RBI apiece for host Trinity Christian (10-15, 5-7) in the first game of the CCAC doubleheader. Joe McCaw and Steve Brewer each provided two hits for the Trolls in the finale.
St. Francis 4-8, Calumet 2-7: Natalie Ward’s two-run single sparked a four-run rally in the top of seventh for St. Francis (11-13, 5-3) in the first game of CCAC doubleheader. Tori Johnson’s RBI double put the Saints ahead and she eventually came across on a wild pitch to complete the scoring. Caitlyn Balandis fanned four in going the distance for St. Francis. The Saints rallied two win Game 2 as well, scoring twice in the seventh on RBI singles by Susan Newton and Torey Borkowski.
