Lincoln-Way North 3, Lockport 2: Zach Hoekstra’s two-out single in the bottom of the 10th scored Austin Konagel with the winning run Lincoln-Way North (5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Lorenzo Blazekovich contributed a sacrifice fly for Lockport (5-7).

Lincoln-Way East 12, Thornwood 0: Kyle Keuch launched a two-run homer and Tyler Esposito added a two-run single to carry visiting Lincoln-Way East (6-2) in the six-inning SouthWest Suburban crossover. Christian Signorelli (4 innings) and two relievers combined on a two-hitter for the Griffins.

Bremen 6, Evergreen Park 2: Brett Kolacki (4-hitter) went the distance and Ryan Lynch clubbed a three-run homer to pace host Bremen (6-6, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover. Mark Martin scored a run and stole two bases for Evergreen Park (4-3, 3-2).

Stagg 5, Thornridge 2: Max Downs belted a solo homer, Nick Nowak lined an RBI double and Jake Wimmer added a run-scoring single to lead visiting Stagg (3-6) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Brendan Kivlehan (5 innings) and Austin Greer allowed two hits and fanned eight for the Chargers.

St. Rita 21, Bloomington 0: A.J. Fuller and Jake Shepski each went 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI to steer visiting St. Rita (13-0) in the six-inning game.

Lincoln-Way West 5, Sandburg 2: Dan Brokop had a two-run single and three RBI to lead host Lincoln-Way West (7-0). Luke Morgan chipped in two hits and two RBI for the Warriors in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Dylan Eller struck out nine in pitching a complete game for the winners. Jim Roche went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Sandburg (5-3).

Crete-Monee 7, Kankakee 5: Matt Sonntag pitched five innings for the win and also recorded two RBI to lead host Crete-Monee (3-3, 2-0) in the Southland.

Lincoln-Way Central 7, Joliet West 1: Sean Barry was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI for host Lincoln-Way Central (6-3). Andrew Farbak (2-0) yielded one run in five innings for the Knights.

De La Salle 19, Leo 0: Joe Musco’s four RBI boosted host De La Salle (5-1, 2-0) in the Catholic League White. Ivan Guzman fanned eight in pitching a no-hitter for the Meteors in the three-inning game.

Illiana Christian 11, Timothy Christian 2: Matt Dykstra and Jack Hillegonds each registered two hits and two RBI for host Illiana Christian (3-5, 2-1) in the Metro Suburban. Lucas Miedema (3-for-3, 3 runs) added a solo homer for the Vikings.

Oak Lawn 4, T.F. South 1: Liam Blake (3-for-3) had two RBI and Chad Cwik (2-hitter, 8 strikeouts) pitched six innings of one-run ball to direct host Oak Lawn (2-8, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover.

Bloom 10, Rich East 0: Eric Luther (4-hitter, 6 strikeouts) went the route and Frankie Herzic had four RBI to guide host Bloom (3-3, 2-0) in the five-inning Southland game. Branden Davis had two this, including a double, for Rich East (0-6, 0-2).

Illinois Lutheran 8, Grant Park 0: Grant Farmer (2-hitter) fanned eight over six innings to show the way for host Illinois Lutheran (6-1, 2-1) in the River Valley.

Rich Central 13, Rich South 1: Marcus Chapman’s three-run homer and two-run single set the tone for visiting Rich Central (4-1, 2-0) in the five-inning Southland contest. Elijah Garrett had an RBI single for Rich South (0-6, 0-2).

Richards 12, Oak Forest 5: Shawn Chiaramonte (3-for-4, 3 RBI) and Charlie Zeschke swatted two-run homers to power host Richards (6-2, 3-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Alex Maka posted a two-run double for Oak Forest (4-3, 2-1).

Andrew 8, Joliet Central 0: Stefan Urosevic had three RBI and Ryan Hartmann (2-1) fanned five through five innings to propel host Andrew (3-5) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

T.F. North 7, Shepard 6: Fabian Del Real (3-for-4, 3 RBI) hit a two-run single with two outs in the top of the seventh to lift visiting T.F. North (2-4, 1-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Shepard slipped to 4-3, 3-1.

Eisenhower 9, Hillcrest 1: Juan Gallardo (2-for-5) doubled and finished with three RBI to carry visiting Eisenhower (2-2, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Zac Cozzi pitched a four-hitter and struck out seven for the Cardinals.

Homewood-Flossmoor 8, Bradley 6: Derrion Thomas’ tie-breaking RBI single in the top of the seventh lifted visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (5-1). Thomas also provided a solo homer, while teammate Kendall King tacked on three RBI in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

St. Francis 4, Chicago Christian 2: Christian Bolhuis (single) and Trevor Wolterink (groundout) drove in runs for visiting Chicago Christian (7-6, 2-1) in the Suburban Christian Gold.

Argo 6, Tinley Park 3: Brendan Krob smacked a two-run triple and finished with three RBI to boost visiting Argo (3-4, 1-2) in the South Suburban crossover. Conner Ceglarz, Quinn Kelly and Andrew Hall contributed RBI for Tinley Park (2-3, 2-2).

Softball

Lincoln-Way East 14, Thornwood 1: Melissa Esparza went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI to power host Lincoln-Way East (5-2) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Sarah Esposito and Alana Selvaggio combined to allow two hits and strike out 11 for the Griffins in the five-inning game. Hannah McPherson singled and scored a first-inning run for Thornwood (2-2).

Shepard 11, Bremen 1: Jalyn Stepney (2-for-2) hit two homers and totaled five RBI to propel host Shepard (3-2, 3-2) in the five-inning South Suburban crossover. Melissa Kelly allowed five hits in going the route for the Astros.

Andrew 12, Joliet Central 0: Kayla Plastiak doubled twice and drove in three runs to boost visiting Andrew (7-2) in the five-inning SouthWest Suburban crossover. Abby Purcell added a two-run single for the Thunderbolts to back Cassie Hoppenrath (2-0), who spun a two-hitter.

T.F. South 4, Evergreen Park 2: Devin Pieper (3-2) fanned 11 in tossing a complete game for visiting T.F. South (5-2, 5-1). Brianna Heintz went 4-for-4 with a run to lead the Rebels offensively in the South Suburban crossover.

Homewood-Flossmoor 6, Bradley 1: Olivia Dau belted a two-run homer and Gabby Cooke (2-for-3) also registered two RBI to spark host Homewood-Flossmoor (2-4). Kelly Ann Rinearson struck out five in pitching a complete game for the Vikings in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Joliet West 6, Lincoln-Way Central 5: Jackie Farbak swatted a pair of RBI doubles to pace visiting Lincoln-Way Central (4-3) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Reavis 8, Oak Lawn 6: Ally Balandis (4-4) pitched a complete game and also went 2-for-4 with two RBI to guide host Reavis (6-4, 5-2). Ashley Galason added two hits and two runs for the Rams in the South Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way North 4, Lockport 3: Anne Allen’s two-run single in the top of seventh was the difference- maker for Lincoln-Way North (3-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Carley Hamann tacked on two hits and two runs for the Phoenix. Ally Howard lashed a two-run single for Lockport (4-3).

Illiana Christian 10, Fenton 0: Amanda VanKalker (2-for-3) tripled, homered and knocked in a pair of runs to vault host Illiana Christian (1-4, 1-1) in the five-inning Metro Suburban contest. Jess Bombino (3-for-4) added a triple and two RBI for the Vikings in backing Heather Wiltjer, who fired a one-hitter.

Stagg 12, Thornridge 0: Lexi Minet starred on the mound (11 strikeouts) and at the plate (2-for-4, 2 RBI) for host Stagg (1-5) in the six-inning SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Beecher 10, Wilmington 3: Sarah Crews (4 RBI) hit a pair of homers and also pitched a complete game (6 strikeouts) to set the tone for visiting Beecher (9-4).

Regina 3, Queen of Peace 2: Jasmine Escobedo and Daniella Jimenez posted RBI for host Queen of Peace (1-4, 0-3) in the GCAC Red.

Grant Park 22, Illinois Lutheran 5: Sara Currier (2-for-4, run) slashed an RBI double to aid host Illinois Lutheran (1-6, 0-4) in the River Valley.

Wheaton Academy 12, Mount Assisi 9: Terri Dearth hit a two-run homer and Sabrina Miller added a solo shot for visiting Mount Assisi (2-5).

Kankakee 2, Crete-Monee 0: Alyssa Frenzel, London Harris and Ashley Bartlett collected one hit apiece for host Crete-Monee (2-3, 1-1) in the Southland.

Girls Soccer

Richards 1, Oak Lawn 0: Shannon Meegan scored off an assist from Krystalynn Torres to lift host Richards (1-2, 1-2) in the South Suburban Red.

Lockport 3, Thornwood co-op 2: Goals by Allie Polinski, Jamie Hansen and Sam Calderaro keyed visiting Lockport (1-2-3) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Lemont 4, Shepard 0: Kelly Fritz stopped four shots in earning her third shutout for host Lemont (3-0-1, 3-0). Kim Jerantowski and Brittney Mikrut each contributed a goal and an assist for the Indians in the South Suburban crossover.

Sandburg 1, Andrew 0: Emily Osoba set up Sarah DeWolf for the goal that propelled visiting Sandburg (4-2-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Tinley Park 6, Eisenhower 2: Ellie Carillo’s four goals keyed visiting Tinley Park (4-2, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way West 3, Homewood-Flossmoor 0: Brianna Darlage recorded one goal and one assist for host Lincoln-Way West (7-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Oak Forest 2, Argo 0: Goals by Rachel Valente and Maddie Baxa spurred visiting Oak Forest (4-5, 2-2) in the South Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way Central 1, Stagg 0: Paige Proctor scored and Anita Fournier notched the shutout to lead host Lincoln-Way Central (5-3-2) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Reavis 2, Evergreen Park 0: Ewelina Kmin had both goals and Makayla Spielman garnered the shutout to spark visiting Reavis (3-4, 2-1) in the South Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way North 7, Joliet Central 0: Bianca Galassini and Rachel Pappas scored two goals each for host Lincoln-Way North (8-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

T.F. United 4, Bremen 1: Monica Munoz’s hat trick led the way for visiting T.F. United (3-3, 2-1) in the South Suburban Blue.

Boys Volleyball

Lincoln-Way North 25-25, Neuqua Valley 22-18: Jimmy Dusek provided 16 digs for host Lincoln-Way North (8-1).

Brother Rice 25-25, Loyola 16-21: Jim Dwyer (19 assists) and Kevin Myren (10 kills) were among the standouts for host Brother Rice (12-2, 2-0) in the Catholic League Blue.

Shepard 21-25-25, St. Laurence 25-21-18: Hussein Al-Rashdan garnered 14 assists and Ivan Magana drilled six kills to lead host Shepard (5-10).

Andrew 22-25-25, Reavis 25-18-21: Sanil Thomas accumulated 17 assists, nine digs and eight kills to pace visiting Andrew (7-6). Steve Fitzpatrick tacked on 12 kills and 11 digs for the Thunderbolts. Matthew Sammon dished out 28 assists for Reavis (4-5) and David Kasprzak (6 blocks) added 13 kills.

Stagg 24-25-25, Hinsdale South 26-19-13: Nick Stanek piled up 30 assists to lift visiting Stagg (8-5). Sean Runyon (16 digs) and Trevon Velasco (13 kills) also starred for the Chargers.

Badminton

T.F. South 15, Andrew 0: Jessica Gomez won her match at No. 1 singles for host T.F. South. Cassie Breshock and Jenna Pasko added a victory at top-seeded doubles for the Rebels.

Boys Tennis

Marian Catholic 5, Nazareth 0: Paul Lamb and Sam Roche prevailed at No. 1 doubles for host Marian Catholic (11-2, 1-0) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Lincoln-Way North 7, Bolingbrook 0: Liam Brekke and Kurt Edmonson won at No. 2 doubles to aid host Lincoln-Way North (3-1) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Tinley Park 4, Shepard 1: Harold Taylor (No. 1 singles) was among the winners for host Tinley Park (1-3, 1-1) in the South Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way East 6, Lockport 1: Colin Walsh and Conor VanderGenugten won in straight sets at No. 2 doubles for host Lincoln-Way East (6-2, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Argo 3, Oak Forest 2: Tarik Abdullah was a winner at No. 1 singles for host Argo (5-3, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Munther Saadeh and Ryan Sikora added a victory at No. 1 doubles for the Argonauts.

Sandburg 5, Bradley 2: Jonluke Passett posted a victory at No. 1 singles for visiting Sandburg in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Boys Water Polo

Andrew 11, Bradley 6: Andrew Wojdyla, Dan Cavato and Eric Tamulonis provided three goals apiece for host Andrew (12-0, 5-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Girls Water Polo

Lincoln-Way North 9, Richards co-op 7: Niki Beringer netted a hat trick and Laura Wolf made nine saves to aid Lincoln-Way North (6-9).

Andrew 16, Bradley 8: Genny McCarthy’s 11 goals boosted visiting Andrew (11-3, 5-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Homewood-Flossmoor 11, Lockport 3: Megan Dunlavy put in five goals to spark host Homewood-Flossmoor (7-12, 2-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Rachel Unger’s two goals were the most for Lockport (2-10, 1-3).

College Baseball

Trinity Christian 9-3, Ashford 2-2: Mark Munizzi’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh enabled Trinity Christian (12-15) to capture both ends of the doubleheader. Joe McCaw recorded three RBI for the Trolls in the first game.

Black Hawk 7-3, Joliet Junior College 4-4: Steve Wittkamp’s flyout in the bottom of the seventh brought home Tyler Thorson with the winning run for Joliet Junior College (20-10) in the nightcap. Alex Bebar homered earlier in the frame to tie the score. Bebar, Ben Kirchler and Darrell Collins posted RBI for the Wolves in the opener.

College Softball

St. Francis 9-5, Roosevelt 4-3: Kiley Southall (4-for-5, 2 runs) and Susan Newton each had two RBI to lead St. Francis (13-13, 7-3) in the opening game of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader. Lexi Southall and Jessica Kuester added two runs apiece for the Saints in Rosemont. Tori Johnson paced St. Francis in Game 2, contributing two runs and two RBI.

St. Xavier 2-2, Trinity Christian 1-0: Nicole Nonnemacher scored both runs in the opener, then fanned 12 in Game 2 to propel host St. Xavier (23-3, 7-1) in the CCAC. Nonnemacher’s sister, Nicole, scattered six hits and struck out six in going the route in Game 1. April Lynn’s RBI single was the main highlight for Trinity Christian (13-13, 5-3).
