Oak Lawn 7, Reavis 3: Justin Swatek and Ryne Melnik each had two RBI for visiting Oak Lawn (3-11, 2-3) in the South Suburban Red. Reavis dropped to 4-9, 2-3.
Joliet West 3, Andrew 2: Austin Peterson and Stefan Urosevic scored runs for visiting Andrew (3-9) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Ryan Hartmann gave up one earned run on four hits in pitching a complete game for the Thunderbolts.
T.F. South 10, T.F. North 0: Kyle Hallberg (4-1) spun a three-hitter to pace T.F. South (7-6, 3-3) in the South Suburban Blue. Louis Reynolds (2-for-2, double) had two runs and an RBI for the Rebels in the five-inning game at U.S. Steel Yard in Gary.
Richards 3-12, Evergreen Park 2-0: Nick Mejia’s fielder’s choice grounder in the top of the seventh scored Shawn Chiaramonte with the winning run for Richards (11-2, 6-0) in the opener of the South Suburban Red doubleheader. Angelo Smith struck out 11 in going the distance for the Bulldogs. Corey Miller posted an RBI single for Evergreen Park (5-6, 3-3) and Dan Koehler drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Nate Natividad belted a grand slam to power Richards in the five-inning finale. Eric Mallo (4 innings) and Brett Thomas combined on a three-hitter for the winners.
Lincoln-Way Central 2, Naperville North 1: Colleen McLaughlin scored two runs — the last on Rachel Soch’s tiebreaking single in the sixth — to guide visiting Lincoln-Way Central (7-5). Sarah Mikolajczak allowed seven hits in pitching a complete game for the Knights.
Joliet West 5, Andrew 2: Gianni Iannantone swatted a two-run double for host Andrew (11-3) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Reavis 16, Bremen 5: Ally Balandis starred on the mound (5 innings, no earned runs) and at the plate (2-for-2, HR, 3 runs, 3 RBI) to lead visiting Reavis (8-5, 6-3). Ashley Galason (3-for-3) added five runs and three RBI for the Rams in the five-inning South Suburban crossover.

Sandburg Invitational: Zach Roper scored 11 goals as Sandburg defeated Riverside-Brookfield 16-4 and St. Charles North 10-4. Eric Tamulonis scored 10 times to lead Andrew, which topped Lincoln-Way North 11-5 and Prospect 13-7.
Cardinal Stritch 1, St. Xavier 0: Chad Mazur hit an RBI single in the 12th inning to lift host Cardinal Stritch (10-19, 5-13) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Scott Vachon pitched seven shutout innings for St. Xavier (16-22, 11-7), allowing seven hits and striking out eight. Chris Klein recorded three hits, including a double, to lead the Cougars.
Joliet Junior College 8, North Arkansas 4: Matt Filkins’ RBI triple in the bottom of the fifth started a game-winning four-run outburst for Joliet Junior College (23-13). Tyler Thorson and Jeff Pattison added run-scoring singles later in the frame for the Wolves. Jonathan Bolton and Cameron Bass each scored twice for the winners in the nine-inning contest.
St. Francis 4, Purdue-North Central 0: Brandon Mendoza ripped an RBI double and a run-scoring single to vault host St. Francis (27-15, 15-3) in the nine-inning CCAC contest. Chris Blatti (5-2) allowed four hits over eight innings for the Saints.
Southern Indiana 3-5 Lewis 1-1: Alex Slaby (2-for-4) had an RBI single for visiting Lewis (19-17, 12-11) in the nine-inning Great Lakes Valley opener. Eann Cox (4-4) was touched for eight hits and struck out five in tossing a complete game for the Flyers. Austin Mastela’s flyout scored Ben Albano with the run for Lewis in the seven-inning finale.
Missouri S&T 4-0, Lewis 3-5: Ali Brems (2-for-3) had two RBI and Kelly Bowler (3-hitter, 8 strikeouts) went the distance to help visiting Lewis (15-21, 9-14) gain a split in the Great Lakes Valley doubleheader. Chase Machain drove in a run and also pitched a complete game for the Flyers in the opener.
Judson 6-2, St. Francis 0-3: Caitlyn Balandis (2-for-2) had two RBI and also garnered the save to aid host St. Francis (15-17, 8-6) in the second game of the CCAC doubleheader. Kaley Jendraszak (3-for-3) added two runs for the Saints. Balandis allowed no earned runs in going the distance for St. Francis in Game 1.
St. Xavier 1-2, William Penn 0-0: Katie Sears (3-for-4) scored on a throwing error in the bottom of the 10th to lift host St. Xavier (33-3) in Game 1. Megan Nonnemacher (16-1) hurled a three-hitter and fanned 10 for the Cougars. Amanda Hainlen and Shannon Lauret contributed RBI for St. Xavier in the nightcap. The beneficiary was Nicole Nonnemacher (14-2), who gave up four hits and fanned six in tossing a complete game.
Great Lakes Valley Quarterfinal
Lewis 5, Maryville 0: Zsofia Kranczicki and Megan Nguyen won at No. 1 doubles to spark Lewis (13-3). Zsofia Lanstiak and Ana Banic added a win at No. 2 doubles for the Flyers in St. Louis.
