McKendree 12-8, Lewis 3-11: Jake Murray was 6-for-13 with two doubles and two home runs as Lewis (23-22, 15-16 Great Lakes Valley) split with McKendree (15-28, 10-22) in Lebanon.
St. Xavier 1, Robert Morris 0: Scott Vachon pitched a seven-hitter and Bryan Polak was 4-for-4 and scored the game’s only run as St. Xavier (20-26, 14-11) edged visiting Robert Morris in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference game.
Lewis 1-3, Illinois-Springfield 0-7: Brittany Russell hit a walk-off single in the seventh inning of the opener and Kelly Bowler (14-9) pitched a three-hitter as Lewis (23-22, 17-15) split a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader in Romeoville.
St. Xavier 4-4, Concordia (Mich.) 3-0: Nicole Nonnemacher (18-3) pitched her 16th shutout of the season in the nightcap as NAIA No. 9 St. Xavier (42-5-1) won twice in Ann Arbor, Mich. Megan Nonnemacher (21-2) threw a four-hitter in the opener for the Cougars.

Lewis’ Sweeney earns league honor: Lewis’ Rachel Sweeney was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Golf Freshman of the Year after averaging 79.68 for 19 rounds. The Flyers finished sixth in the GLVC Championships in Waterloo, shooting 320-333—653. Melissa VanSistine led Lewis at 79-79—159, tying for ninth. Danielle Coffman was 13th at 77-83—160.
