Lincoln-Way North 5, Lincoln-Way West 1: David Calderon (unearned run) scattered three hits and struck out 13 in firing a complete game for visiting Lincoln-Way North (19-2, 9-1). The Phoenix scored in the fourth inning on a two-run homer by Austin Konagel and a three-run shot from Ben Troike. Ryan Hastings had an RBI single for Lincoln-Way West (23-4, 8-2).
Brother Rice 16, St. Rita 5: Jake Barry (2-for-5) swatted a two-run double and a two-run homer to boost visiting Brother Rice (21-8, 10-4) in the Catholic League Blue. Andrew Dyke (4-for-5) and Kevin Biondic (3-for-5) chipped in three RBI apiece for the Crusaders. Nick Goldsmith (2-for-3) posted a three-run homer for St. Rita (27-2, 12-2).
Reavis 5, Argo 1: Belal Abuzir (unearned run) tossed a three-hitter and struck out 10 to lead visiting Reavis (9-16, 6-8) in the South Suburban Red. Jose Romero (1-for-4, run) had two RBI for the Rams and George Hernandez (2-for-3) scored two runs. Nick Hermosillo contributed an RBI for Argo.
Oak Forest 4, Lemont 2: Jason Dominik’s two-run single in the top of the sixth capped a three-run outburst for Oak Forest (20-7, 11-3). Nick Wisz stroked a home run for Lemont (23-2, 13-1) and Ryan Folliard had an RBI single.
Stagg 4, Bolingbrook 1: Ethan Glaza and Jake Wimmer recorded RBI for visiting Stagg (12-14, 6-4) in the five-inning contest. Tim Gambill (4-1) surrendered one earned run on five hits in pitching a complete game for the Chargers in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Providence 9, Mount Carmel 3: Dylan Rosa (2-for-4, 3 RBI) hit two home runs – including a two-run shot – to power host Providence (17-11, 8-6) in the Catholic League Blue. Jake Godfrey added a two-run blast for the Celtics and Phil Kunsa had a solo shot. Josh Stowers (3-for-4) registered one run and one RBI for Mount Carmel (21-5, 11-3).
Lincoln-Way Central 5, Thornwood 1: Jason Stricklin (11 strikeouts) surrendered one unearned run on four hits in going the distance for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (18-8, 9-1). Kevin Mampe, Sean Barry and Shane Stover smacked RBI doubles during a five-run first inning for the Knights in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Crete-Monee 14, Kankakee 0: Matt Sonntag pitched a complete game (2-hitter, 8 strikeouts) and also went 3-for-3 with two RBI in guiding visiting Crete-Monee (13-11, 9-2). General McArthur (1-for-3) added two runs and two RBI for the Warriors in the five-inning Southland tilt.
St. Laurence 11, Loyola 4: Mike Miller (2 runs) hit a two-run triple and Roger Wilson (1-for-3) scored three times to direct host St. Laurence (25-3, 12-2) in the Catholic League Blue. Frank Greco hurled 5 2/3 shutout innings in gaining the victory.
Homewood-Flossmoor 2, Joliet West 1: Kendall King (single) and Jesse Forestell (triple) contributed fifth-inning RBI for host Homewood-Flossmoor (18-5, 6-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Rich Central 11, Rich South 6: Michael Hoover Jr. (2-for-3) doubled and knocked in two runs to spark visiting Rich South (12-5, 7-3) in the Southland. John Kriha (2-for-4) recorded two RBI to lead Rich South (5-12, 3-8).
Benet 5, Marian Catholic 2: Jace Howard blasted a two-run homer to lead host Marian Catholic (14-14, 6-7) in the East Suburban Catholic. Michael Bainbridge struck out seven in pitching a complete game for the Spartans.
Tinley Park 2, T.F. North 1: Conner Ceglarz drew a walk in the bottom of the seventh that scored Kanon Saavedra with the winning run for Tinley Park (9-12, 4-10) in the South Suburban Blue. Ceglarz also notched the victory after allowing one earned run in 6 2/3 innings.
Fenwick 5, De La Salle 2: Glenn Kubek had an RBI single and Trevino Rodriguez added a run-scoring triple to guide visiting De La Salle (17-9, 12-6) in the Catholic League White.
Evergreen Park 3, Eisenhower 2: Dan Kohler smacked a two-run single and Brian Pall (4-hitter) struck out 11 in going the route for host Evergreen Park (17-8, 10-4). Sean Miller added an RBI single for the Mustangs in the South Suburban Red. Jared Davitto had a run and an RBI for Eisenhower (5-15, 4-10).
Lincoln-Way East 13, Joliet Central 7: Evan Sandmann hit a pair of two-run singles and Jack Dwyer (1-for-1) provided four runs for visiting Lincoln-Way East (14-13, 4-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Brandon Skopick (1-for-1) added two runs and two RBI for the Griffins in the five-inning contest.
Shepard 4, Oak Lawn 3: Brett Smith (no earned runs) struck out five in going the distance for visiting Shepard (11-13, 8-7) in the South Suburban Red. Ken Gorski (3-for-3), Eric Horbach and Kevin Carmody knocked in runs for the Astros.
Seton 11, Hales Franciscan 10: Devin Howard’s groundout in the seventh brought in Greg Alexander with the winning run for host Seton (8-10, 5-3) in the Catholic League Red. Howard finished with three runs, two RBI and four stolen bases, while teammate Jacob Duncan lined a two-run single.
Young 8, Morgan Park 7: Dantrelle Lucas (3-for-3, RBI) finished with two runs and Lavar Reed (2-for-3) added two RBI for visiting Morgan Park (14-6-1, 8-3-1) in the five-inning Jackie Robinson South game.
Thornton 5, Thornridge 4: Ronnie Cross had the game-winning RBI and also notched the save to lead visiting Thornton (3-18, 2-8) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Bloom 4, Rich East 0: Frankie Herzic delivered an RBI single and David Metzner (2-for-3) scored twice to key visiting Bloom (10-11, 8-2) in the Southland. Ryan Smith pitched five innings for the Blazing Trojans, allowing four hits and striking out six. Bradley Hines went 2-for-3 to lead Rich East (1-18, 0-11).
Illinois Lutheran 19, Donovan 1: Sam Geraci (4-for-4) had two runs and three RBI to power visiting Illinois Lutheran (21-1, 9-1) in the River Valley. Dylan Gould (2-for-3) added three runs and two RBI for the Chargers in the five-inning tilt.
Bradley 7, Andrew 0: Tom Bushnell and Brian Kelly had the only hits for visiting Andrew (8-16, 3-7) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Lemont 13, T.F. South 2: Anna Smagacz (2-for-4, 2 runs) had four RBI to pace visiting Lemont (17-8, 11-3) in the South Suburban Blue. Elaina Latz (3-for-4) added two runs for the Indians in the five-inning tilt. T.F. South fell to 15-6, 8-5.
Joliet Catholic 13, Providence 7: Reilly Jo Swanson (2-for-5) had three RBI and Paige Callans (2-for-4) scored three runs to boost visiting Joliet Catholic (9-18, 3-12) in the East Suburban Catholic. Alyssa Callans (2-for-4) added two runs and two RBI for the Angels, who broke the game open with an eight-run tally in the sixth inning. Morgan Greenwood hit a two-run homer for Providence (15-11, 9-6).
Homewood-Flossmoor 1, Stagg 0: Meagan Donermeyer fanned 14 in tossing a no-hitter for visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (7-13, 3-6). Morgan Williams posted a double and an RBI for the Vikings in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Stagg slipped to 2-14, 1-9.
Andrew 7, Lincoln-Way North 4: Kayla Plastiak’s grand slam lifted visiting Andrew (20-7, 8-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Abbie Bailey (3-for-4) tacked on a two-run single for the Thunderbolts. Taylor Bowman and Anne Allen had solo homers for Lincoln-Way North (13-10, 7-3).
Bradley 10, Lincoln-Way Central 6: Naidelyn Maidena blasted a two-run homer to aid visiting Lincoln-Way Central (14-13, 7-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Marist 15, Bishop McNamara 12: Madison Naujokas (5-for-5, 3 runs) drilled two homers and finished with four RBI for visiting Marist (17-6-1, 8-3). Brooke Wyderski (2-for-3, 3 runs) added a solo shot and three RBI for the RedHawks in the East Suburban Catholic.
Reavis 5, Illiana Christian 4: Hope Stepuncik’s RBI double in the bottom of the eighth elevated Reavis (11-14). Ally Balandis homered for the Rams and Kim Baffin threw a complete game.
Beecher 13, Oak Lawn 3: Isabella Woolslayer (3-for-3) had three RBI to aid visiting Beecher (26-6) in the five-inning game.
Crete-Monee 13, Rich South 5: Ashley Bartlett’s two homers and five RBI ignited visiting Crete-Monee (12-6, 7-2) in the Southland.
Illinois Lutheran 7, Donovan 4: Caroline Kuether (3-for-4) doubled twice and knocked in three runs for visiting Illinois Lutheran (7-11, 2-9) in the River Valley.
Marian Catholic 5, Sandburg 3: Paul Lamb and Sam Roche prevailed at top-seeded doubles for host Marian Catholic (22-4).
Illiana Christian 5, Marist 0: James Zandstra (No. 1) and Garret Lytle (No. 2) won their respective singles matches for visiting Illiana Christian (8-6).
Lemont 5, Eisenhower 0: Austin Economos and Will Totura (No. 2 doubles) were among the winners for visiting Lemont (11-4) in the South Suburban crossover.

St. Xavier 3, Cornerstone 1: Amanda Hainlen hit a solo homer and scored twice to lead St. Xavier (46-7-1) in Columbia, Kentucky. Nicole Nonnemacher (21-4) allowed three hits and struck out seven in pitching a complete game for the Cougars.
