The Austin Peay recruit and returning All-Area member wrapped up a remarkable three-year career, going 11-2 with a 1.46 ERA. In 792/3 innings, the left-hander allowed 47 hits and struck out 107.
MATTHIAS DIETZ Sandburg, Sr., P
The hard-throwing right-hander finished 8-1 with two saves and a sparkling 0.84 ERA. A Logan recruit, he allowed just 37 hits and 12 walks over 662/3 innings while striking out 87.
DRAKE FELLOW S Joliet Catholic, Soph., P
The 6-foot-5 right-hander burst on the scene, registering a 6-1 record and 0.63 ERA. Already committed to Vanderbilt, he allowed just 33 hits and struck out 77 over 552/3 innings.
JESSE FOREST ELL Homewood-Flossmoor, Jr., DH
Left-handed-hitting catcher and returning All-Area selection hit .413 with six doubles, one triple, two homers and 24 RBI. Regarded as excellent defensively.

Ignited the offense for the Class 4A runner-up Mustangs, hitting .541 with seven doubles, 46 runs and 31 stolen bases. Was a standout defensively at both corner outfield spots.

Four-year varsity starter and SouthtownStar 2013 Player of the Year hit .404 with nine doubles, two triples, nine homers, 43 RBI and 24 stolen bases. Purdue recruit also starred on the mound for the Catholic Blue co-champ, going 8-2 with a 1.35 ERA.

The left-hander led the Indians to the Class 3A state title, going 10-0 with a save and a 0.23 ERA. Over 621/3 innings, he allowed 29 hits, two earned runs, 12 walks and struck out 114. The LSU recruit was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 11th round.

The SouthtownStar 2014 Player of the Year was a two-way force for the Class 4A state champion Celtics. Hit .413 with 14 doubles, two triples, 11 homers, 55 RBI and 35 runs. The Kent State recruit was 4-2 with a 2.42 ERA on th e mound.
A.J. SANCHEZ Richards, Sr.
Team MVP hit .421 with 12 doubles, two triples, 33 runs and 29 RBI. Also helped out on the mound, finishing 5-1 with a 2.73 ERA. Committed just eight errors at shortstop.

Returning All-Area member capped a brilliant three-year varsity career with a .376 average, 10 doubles, nine triples, five homers, 36 runs and 47 RBI. On the mound was 6-1 with eight saves and 1.20 ERA. Notre Dame recruit.
