Girls Basketball
No. 1 Marist 82, Simeon 30: Claire Ryan netted 13 points to lead host Marist (18-0). JeTaun Rouse and Leah Bolton added 12 points each for the RedHawks.
Morgan Park Academy 30, Elgin Academy 25: Kelly Sorfleet and Isabelle Panozzo scored 12 points apiece for host Morgan Park Academy (5-8, 2-1) in the Independent School League.
Evergreen Park 50, Bremen 49: Nicole Larkin (8 points) sank a short baseline jumper with 30 seconds remaining to lift visiting Evergreen Park (2-15, 1-5) in the South Suburban crossover. Jazmaine Elem led the Mustangs with 18 points and Nina Orlowski scored 16. Maggie Hayes paced Bremen (3-14, 0-6) with 17 points.
Boys Bowling
Lincoln-Way North 2,034, Lincoln-Way Central 1,885: Andy Ricker, of Lincoln-Way North, had a 236 game and two-game series of 447 in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Tinley Park Bowl. Mark Schulte added a 252 game and 431 series for the Phoenix.
Richards 2,176, Stagg 1,794: Andrew Byland contributed a 258 game and 513 series for Richards at Brunswick Zone in Oak Lawn. Akeem Myers tacked on a 267 game and 499 series for the Bulldogs. Mario Lara and Mario Falco each posted 243 games for Stagg.
Girls Bowling
Lemont 1,652, Shepard 1,586: Shepard’s Destiny Miller posted the top game (233) and two-game series (438) in the South Suburban crossover at Strike N Spare II. Amanda Kolar guided Lemont with a 223 game and 397 series.
Lincoln-Way North 1,735, Eisenhower 1,514: Taylor Heppeler rolled games of 202 and 189 for Lincoln-Way North at Tinley Park Bowl.
Rich South 2,718, Romeoville 2,384: Salest Stewart had a 234 game and three-game series of 591 to pace Rich South at Lakewood Bowl. Brianna Alston added a 255 game and 589 series for the Stars.
Wrestling
Wilmington 53, Brother Rice 18: Pat Rowe (138 pounds), Nuntrae Jackson (152) and Brian Hanik (160) won by pin for visiting Brother Rice.
