David Follenweider, a Monee resident with Providence hockey, began his hockey career with the Orland Park Vikings.
Who’s your favorite player on the Blackhawks?
Jonathan Toews. He’s the man. He just wants to win.
If you could have your pick, which celebrity would you choose as your prom date?
Kim Kardashian. She seems like she’s pretty annoying, but I guess I’d take her.
What’s your favorite hockey moment?
When the Blackhawks won the (Stanley) Cup. That was just crazy.
Speaking of Cups, how important is it to you to win the Catholic League’s Kennedy Cup your senior year?
It would be tremendous. It’s bigger than a state championship. It’s our No. 1 goal. To go out a champion would be really, really nice.
What team would you like most to beat in the Kennedy Cup championship?
St. Rita. They’ve won it the last few years and they’ve had our number. I’d like to take them down.
As told to Pat Disabato
