Girls Basketball

No. 2 Hillcrest 87, Richards 42: Dana Gettis scored 15 points and Shannise Heady added 13 for host Hillcrest (16-2, 7-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Nicole Ellement had nine points for Richards (8-7, 3-4).

No. 5 Homewood-Flossmoor 55, Lincoln-Way Central 32: Charnelle Reed scored 26 points and Amenda Brent grabbed 11 rebounds to guide visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (13-6, 4-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Autumn Schultz scored 14 points for Lincoln-Way Central (10-7, 2-4).

Trinity 69, No. 8 Mother McAuley 44: Alyssa Siwek scored 14 points and Brenna Nolan added 11 for host Mother McAuley (11-8, 3-1) in the GCAC Red.

No. 9 Andrew 48, Thornwood 36: Tiana Karopulos had 21 points for host Andrew (11-5, 5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

T.F. North 64, Oak Lawn 48: Sharee Greenlee poured in 25 points for visiting T.F. North (10-8, 7-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Brooke Annerino had 22 points for Oak Lawn (9-7, 3-4).

Tinley Park 48, Shepard 44: Simona Sidaugaite netted 20 points to lead host Tinley Park (10-10, 6-1) in the South Suburban crossover. Mary Grace Valenta paced Shepard (5-14, 1-6) with 10 points.

Lincoln-Way North 45, Thornton 36: Ellen Graham’s 10 points lifted visiting Lincoln-Way North (15-4, 5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove 73, St. Rita 47: Charles Matthews had 19 points and eight rebounds for St. Rita (7-6) in Springfield, Mo.

Reavis 1,916, Oak Forest 1,820: Oak Forest’s Kyle Sinwelski had the top game (277) and series (469) in the South Suburban crossover. Carl Crocker paced Reavis with a 437 series.

Tinley Park 2,006, T.F. North 1,794: Trevond Scott recorded a 256 game and 441 series for T.F. North in the South Suburban Blue.

Girls Bowling

Shepard 1,823, Richards 1,501: Destiny Miller rolled games of 235 and 223 to pace Shepard in the South Suburban Red.

T.F. South 1,726, Evergreen Park 1,500: Shannon Pollard recorded a 368 series for T.F. South in the South Suburban crossover.

Oak Forest 1,500, Hillcrest 1,211: Sarah Henery’s 195 game and 356 series sparked Oak Forest in the South Suburban Blue.

Tinley Park 1,847, T.F. North 1,746: Caitlyn Abrand had a 258 game and 439 series for Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue.

Bremen 1,767, Oak Lawn 1,678: Kelly Lendi had a 425 series to pace Bremen in the South Suburban crossover.

Tinley Park 42, T.F. North 28: David McDonald (120 pounds) and Brian Wahl (145) had pins for visiting Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue.

Tinley Park 127, Thornton Fractional co-op 31: Dan Shaunnessey won the 50-yard freestyle (22.76 seconds) for host Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue.

Oak Forest 90, Bremen 59: Oak Forest’s Tony Zdanavicius won the 100 backstroke (1:12.33) in the South Suburban Blue meet in Midlothian.

Shepard 116, Lemont 56: Raul Nevarez, Tommy Eyer, Mitch Pearl and Nate Calder won the 200-yard free relay (1:42.20) for host Shepard in the South Suburban crossover.

Homewood-Flossmoor 106, Lincoln-Way Central 77: Jakobi McClellan posted a victory in the 100 free (51.88) to guide host Homewood-Flossmoor in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Richards 110, Eisenhower 55: Dillon Griffin, of host Richards, was a winner in the 200 individual medley (2:34.32) in the South Suburban Red.

Evergreen Park 92, Reavis 83: Rafael Ortiz won the 100 backstroke (1:02.79) for host Reavis in the South Suburban Red.
